great location

Our host was responsive , and made sure we had a great stay.

The home was beautiful and functional - the 5 teenagers stayed in the basement which was the perfect amount of privacy for them. South haven is a safe town - the teens can spend the day bike riding or in town on their own. Then the whole family can enjoy the beach which is literally right out the door! Running back to the house so the younger kids could have quiet time or lunch was simple. There are lots of lovely places in the house to sit and read - and multiple balconies to enjoy. As long as everyone in the group can climb stairs this is perfect vacation home. Loved the private yard space too.

This property was excellent. We came with 11 people across three (3) different families and there was plenty of room for everyone. The four (4) total floors allows folks a lot of room to hang out together but also retreat to a quiet spot when you need to. The location and proximity to the beach could not have been better. Also, having the chairs and boogie boards already there was so convenient. Plenty of outdoor space. The owner was very nice and accommodating. We had a mix-up with the lock on the first day and she answered our call right away and got us sorted out. We will definitely try and book this house again!

This is a beautiful, well-maintained home in an A+ location near North Beach. We had a great time, loved having pool table and ping pong available. The only drawback is that the home is on four levels, so if you have anyone physically challenged in your traveling party, you may want to consider something more feasible. All-in-all, this is an amazing property.

Stayed for the weekend with a group of 14 girls. Beautiful spacious home with plenty of sleeping space for us all. Loved the balconies. Loved being able to walk outside and be on the beach. Super close to town also

We just had a picture perfect week in South Haven at this property. Plenty of room for extended family to visit and large entertaining areas that let us all spread out. Loved that there were many beach chairs and umbrellas we could use and just a very short walk down the public access parking area to what feels like your own private beach on most days. House is beautiful, just like in pictures. Yard is well taken care of and a great place to relax after a day at the beach. We had one maintenance issue that was handled very quickly. The only very tiny little detail I might suggest is that they have beach towels that can go down to the beach for our use. Both families that stayed at the property traveled across the country and had to go out and buy towels the first day which proved challenging at the end of the summer. Overall, a very positive experience was had by all. Highly recommended!!

We rented this property for a week with several other families. This is a great location with a small public beach less than a block away. The house has four levels so everyone had plenty of room to spread out or spend time together in the kitchen/living room area. The teens commandeered the basement AND the top floor at times, with the pool table and their own tv. We loved the small balcony for our morning coffee and the ten minute walk downtown.

I can genuinely say this was by far the best Vrbo house I’ve ever stayed at. The size and layout of the house was perfect for our group, which consisted of 3 different families and ranging in age from 18 months to 70 years old. Having the bedrooms spread out across 3 separate floors, with the living and dining area on its own floor, provided just the right amount of privacy. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. The three separate balconies provided lots of outdoor space. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, and the walk to the beach was under two minutes. The beach itself was small, which was perfect for us because it wasn’t nearly as crowded as the main beach, which itself is no more than a 10 minute walk away. As an FYI, we had the east home, which faces the road instead of the beach. I would try for the west home if both are available, but this is such a minor point. Would definitely book again; not cheap, but well worth the money. 10 out of 10 stars.

My mom and 4 siblings (with spouses) stayed at this beautiful home the end of April and beginning of May. The house was super clean and everything we needed was in the house. Such a large, open home with awesome kitchen and living spaces! Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Julia's place in South Haven! The condo was beautiful, and having the beach right there, was perfect for us! My only advice, for those planning a trip during COVID times, getting take out food is very difficult in South Haven. We were a party of seven, and most restaurants in the area were overwhelmed with large parties & to go orders, that we struggled to find dinner some nights. We should have just cooked in, and utilized the beautiful kitchen & BBQ pit that Julia has!!!

The condo was exactly as pictured and perfect for our 15 person stay over a long weekend. Right next to the beach and a short walk to downtown. Would reserve again for the next family gathering.

We rented this house because we wanted to be close to the beach and downtown. It is a great location for both. Really close to a wonderful stretch of beach and walkable to downtown. The house is very comfortable even with a lot of people there. Lots of room for everyone. Everything was neat and clean when we arrived. Julia answered all my questions right away. We had a fabulous time and are looking forward to going there again.

Located in the lovely town of South Haven this house accommodated 8 adults and 3 children. The house was functional and just steps to the beach.

We had a great time with a big group of friends. Very well-kept and clean home, with lots of bedrooms and group spaces. It easily accommodated our big group without feeling cramped. Kitchen and amenities were great. The location was lovely, with a view of Lake Michigan from the windows. Easy 1-minute walk to the beach, if that. Also just a quick jaunt into town - probably walkable when it’s not February! Would recommend.

Nice area and good location. House had plenty of room for our 6 adults and 7 children. It was well equipped for Thanksgiving dinner.

The house is beautiful, clean and conveniently located within walking distance of two beaches. And there is a bakery coffee shop right next door. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We rented the east house. The location is perfect and the home itself is perfect for family/friends get together. The home is very spacious and the floor plan is very well set up. Julia was very attentive every time I had a question or needed to contact her she responded definitely within 24 hours. We would walk to the beach several times during the day, morning noon and night. Hopefully we will be able to stay there again.

We could not have picked a better place to hold our company retreat. The houses were beautiful, well maintained, clean, the location was perfect, the description and accomodations were spot on with what was advertised. The property was within walking distance to the beach and with a short walk you were in the downtown area. We had a group of 18 people and the accomodations allowed us our own space for an overnight stay. The kitchen and dining room areas were well equipped and large enough for us to prepare food and serve buffet style for our group. Even witih a guest speaker we had enough room to sit comfortably and be entertained. We will definetly keep this location in mind for any future work retreats.

This home was perfect for our executive retreat. Plenty of bright, open spaces for our team to meet as a group, relax, have fun. The location is ideal for the area - steps from the beach and walkable to restaurants. The house was very clean and well kept. The home owner was so helpful from beginning to end, making the whole planning process easy. I highly recommend this home for anyone wanting a perfect place to stay in South Haven!

The home is wonderful. The location is perfect. We had an amazing time. Everything from the gourmet kitchen to the balconies across every point of the house-- this house had everything we could ever need or want and more. We will defiantly be booking again!!
