A great place for a family to have adventures.
Our family of 7 adults and 2 toddlers had a great time here. Located just East of Durango was perfectly situated for our time. We were able to go into Durango, Pagosa, and Vallecito Reservoir.
With the 2 floors and the separate living spaces it allowed for our family to be together it also some have some private space for them.

Very large property, nicely decorated, lots of fun stuff to do with the spa and the Wii and the ping pong table. Not far from Durango, silverton and Ouray! Owners are very responsive to any needs you have. It’s great to have two kitchens when you have such a large group. There isn’t central a/c (just 2 window a/c units in two bedrooms) so you need to make use of opening windows at night when it’s cool and using fans and keeping bedroom doors open for flow of cool air and then it works well during the warm summertime. We had a great time and made lots of memories!

We traveled to Durango with our family of 11, which included 5 children of varying ages. This cabin had tons of space and various games, including ping pong, that all the kids enjoyed. Stepping inside, we loved the unique, western vibe that the hosts cultivated throughout the cabin.

We liked the spacious two-level rustic style home and its proximity just outside the city of Durango. It was easy for those in our party of 9 to come and go for shopping, train excursion, zip lining, hiking, church or any activity, on our own, or as a group.
After a long day of travel or hiking it was a treat to find deep jacuzzi tubs in both levels of the home, in addition to a perfect temp hot tub on the deck.
The neighborhood itself is mixed use business and residential, but the vacation home sits back off the road. Soon after arrival, we were cooking on the host-provided grill, enjoying our special gathering amidst the clean Colorado air on the wrap around wood deck.
Being able to bring our family pet was another plus for choosing this property.

My crew and I completed a 4 day bicycle race and needed a place to rest and recover from the race and sleep deprivation. This was the right spot. Very close to the airport for the crew who had to catch flights. NO issues. Would stay again!

It was a great location for our group. Close to Durango to do what we wanted during free time, and close to the wedding venue.

Spacious place, both upstairs and downstairs have two bedrooms and kitchen. So since we were all adults staying, it was nice to split up.

We had a wonderful stay for our Snowdown 2024 trip. This place easily housed our group of 11 and the hot tub was a great relief after a full day of skiing. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

This property was perfect. There were 10 of us and we had space to spare. The hot tub was used every day to relax after skiing.
If you have multi/family, with several kids, this is the place for you.
Hosts were also fantastic and check in/out was easy.

Very nice place with plenty of space for a large family. It was clean and nicely decorated for the holiday season. It was close to Durango without being right in town which was nice as it was quiet.

This cabin was a perfect place to relax and was kid friendly with games and outdoor snow activities. Easy drive to downtown Durango. We didn’t use the downstairs area.

This was home was an excellent choice for our large group of ladies. The home was beautiful, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed and more. The hosts were wonderful. They were very easy to communicate with, friendly and available for anything we needed. Highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back!!

A beautiful property with a nice yard for kids to play. Even lots of toys/kids books available. The separation of the downstairs and upstairs with both having fully equipped kitchens was a nice feature for us. Allowed mothers with infant to have a quiet place to go. Locations just minutes from Durango was nice as well. Plenty of parking even with our trailer full of bikes.

The house is great for multiple families. We had three families (6 kids) and there was plenty of space for all of us. In mid July, it was hot. A couple of the bedrooms had A/C but much of the house was hot during the day. We had everything we needed in the home and it was a short 10/15 min to town. For the price, this was a good deal.

Lay out of home was perfect for our 2 families. Larger upstairs was the meals and snacking areas but the game’s downstairs made both homes perfect.

We were at the midpoint of our 2,500-mile trip from Boise Idaho in our little British cars and the two days we spent at Liz and Doug's log cabin was exacting what we needed. We wanted for nothing in the spacious - clean home. It was also nice to be away from the busy streets of Durango. Our stay gave us the energy to continue our drive on the San Jaun Skyway. I would highly recommend that anyone looking for a place to stay in Southwest Colorado consider this home!

Doug was super easy to work with before we arrived. This house has the most well stocked kitchen I’ve ever experienced. Honestly, everything was very well-stocked & comfortable (they even provided laundry detergent). It’s a fun & quirky space with plenty of room for our large group. Highly recommend & would stay again! The outdoor spaces were so nice on the cool mornings & we loved the hot tub in the evenings.

Great place for multiple families with kids! Plenty of outdoor space for all of us. Kids had fun playing games and horseshoes. The RV spots were great for those that had RVs. Nice big kitchen upstairs for cooking and feeding a big group. Nicely located for all of our needs.

Spacious but cozy cabin. Hot tub was perfect. Plenty of fenced yard covered in snow and deck space for the fur baby. Very welcoming host that stay on the property who saved our dog from running off the property. Overall great peaceful stay.
