A week in this heavenly little home by the sea was just not enough. We loved every day of our stay here. Our hosts seemed to cover everything and were available to us if we needed anything else. The spacious living room with a walk out to the balcony was a great place to unwind after a day touring this adorable city. The little kitchen was just enough to prepare a few meals and the bedroom held everything we brought with us. Comfy mattress, too! So, no complaints here. Just wish it were closer and I would travel back there again and again.

Airy apartment with lovely views over the Mediterranean. It had everything we needed for a relaxing week’s vacation. There is no need for a car as restaurants and shops are close by and plenty of day trips are an easy bus or train ride away. The Moovit app is a great help to plan a route. The Atelier Boulanger has delicious bread and patisserie (perhaps too good!). Catherine and Phillipe are very knowledgeable hosts and provided a detailed guide book of local attractions.

The property is perfectly located for a great stay in Menton - beautiful and very clean apartment - would definitely recommend!

First of all our hosts Catherine & Phillipe we very gracious,friendly, helpful and always available when needed. The apartment was just wonderful, very clean,well equipped, light and bright with wonderful views from every window.Restaurants,supermarket, fresh food market all within a couple of minutes walk. Then to top it off sitting on the balcony sipping the drink of your choice and looking out to sea is MAGIC! Then there is Menton a gorgeous old town port to explore.

We were greated warmly by Philippe in the pretty garden area and he provided us with a tour of the Apartment, as well as helpful information regarding location of the train station and markets. He also gave us some great recommendations for Restaurants. Philippe let us know he was always available if we needed anything at all. The Apartment is in a wonderful location with beautiful views of the Mediterranean! We spent many mornings on the balcony, listening to the waves, with a coffee as the sun rose and evenings with a glass of Rosé, as the sunset. The Apartment is lovely and has gorgeous views from the windows and lots of sunlight. We liked that it was on the top floor and nice and quiet for sleeping. It was a wonderful place to spend our 3 week exploring Menton and also taking day trips to visit other spots on the French Riviera! David & Jeannie

Location, location, location. Beautiful views of the ocean and lots of natural light. Catherine did an excellent job of communicating in a prompt and helpful manner. Her information about Menton was most appreciated and we really enjoyed the short hikes she mentioned. The apartment is very well equipped for comfort, relaxation and meal preparation, if you so choose. The living area is quite spacious and was very clean. We were welcomed with a bottle of Philipe’s wine, which we enjoyed. Thank you for a wonderful start to our vacation.

Information provided - from directions to apartment to the welcome packet - was well-organized and detailed. Catherine met with us when we arrived to orient us to the property and city. It is obvious she cares about her guests and their comfort. She provided great suggestions about restaurants and things to see. The apartment location was ideal, close to sights, services & transportation, with a beautiful view of the sea from the windows and balcony. Catherine & Phillipe were helpful prior to and during our stay - we can’t say enough good things about them and this beautiful property.

Located on a busy road, but well worth it for the promenade and the spectacular views over the seafront. Very comfortable apartment. Catherine is an outstanding property manager. Helpful, well informed and very obliging. We will be back

The location was excellent. In the heart of Menton and the balcony meant we could have breakfast or evening drinks whilst watching the world go by. Felt part of the community rather than just a tourist. Great tips from the host. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

This apartment is everything advertised but better in real life when you are standing in the living room, looking out both windows, and staring at the gorgeously blue Mediterranean Sea! The apartment is very nicely finished. All things are up to date and in excellent condition. There is an amazing amount of storage for such a small space. We were very comfortable for our week long stay. We even cooked one night in the tiny, but very efficient, kitchen - which was a treat because we enjoyed the perfect view while dining! There were some beach extras provided (big towels, umbrella, and pads) that we greatly appreciated. Coming all the way from California, we just can’t pack those things, so it was a treat for us to sit comfortably on the rocky beach in the shade! Very thoughtful! Catherine and Philippe were awesome hosts! They were in great communication with us for over two years as we waited on Covid. Catherine even picked up a week long parking pass for us, which was so appreciated since we bumble through the French language when trying to figure these things out on our own. It was wonderful to finally meet them in person. They provided a wealth of information regarding the apartment and area. Just a top notch experience all around. We had some fine meals out while in Menton, but a surprise sleeper was the Bistrot de la mairie, which we stumbled upon while doing laundry next door. We enjoyed a very generous coffee crème while we waited for our clothing to dry, and decided to give them a try for dinner. We were not let down and pleasantly surprised at the quality of our meals (risotto with scallops and the most delicious Thai salmon!). The service is very honest, kind, and attentive. Pricing is very fair. Give them a try! We hope we will be fortunate enough to revisit this little charmer in the future! Thanks to the hosts and the owners for making it so pleasant for guests.

We love this little apartment in Menton, with easy access to the beach, public transport, and great restaurants. The living area is airy and spacious, the bed comfortable, and the tiny kitchen is spotless and well equipped.

Fourth time in Menton and it just keeps getting better. Could'nt ask for a better location. Bit noisy but a central location with an ocean view has it's price. If this apartment is available on the dates you want to travel to Menton jump on it. Plus the hosts make everything easy.

Property exceeded my expectations. Very good location, Location in the city centre, 20m from the beach. Sea view from every window. The apartment was neat and clear. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I can recommend this apartment to everyone.

Fantastic property - will definitely return

This property met all our expectations, the location just a short walk from the old town and a daily fresh produce market made it so convenient not to mention the exceptional view over the Med from our balcony and two aspect windows. The apartment was light, bright, clean and functional and equipped with all we needed for our two week stay. We must also mention the exceptional attention and service provided by Catherine, she was a real gem and we appreciate very much all she did for us during our stay

Lovely dual aspect sitting room benefiting from direct sunshine all day. It is next to a busy road but we soon got accustomed to it and it did not detract from the wonderful views over the palm trees, beach and right out to the sea. Excellent location adjacent to the pedestrianised shopping area. Only 2 minutes from the daily market and an excellent boulongerie (La Suisse). We were made very welcome by Catherine who spent time introducing us to the apartment and giving us excellent holiday tips. We certainly hope to return to this apartment next year.

Compact, beautifully restored, and well-equipped apartment, steps from the beach and the abundance of Menton restaurants and shops. Catherine made us very welcome and gave us good tips on places to visit. We would love to come again some time.

An absolutely stunning apartment which over looks the beach front with a lovely balcony from which to enjoy a glass of wine or early morning coffee. Apartment is modern and clean. The kitchen has everything one needs, kettle, toaster, hob, microwave and fridge. A really comfortable bed and modern shower/bathroom. The lounge has a TV and settee and dinner table and chairs. The views from the apartment are superb.

From the moment we arrived until the day we left Catherine and Philippe were there for us in so many ways. From giving advice on local activities, places to eat, see and shop, to recommending where we should stay for the next part of our trip. They also arranged for an easy impromptu move to another lovely unit in the same building. They are a super nice couple and we would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a VRBO rental in lovely Menton!

We loved staying here! Catherine provided wonderful service. Communication with her was clear and lightning fast. She even picked us up and brought us back to the train station at arrival and departure, and rushed us to the store upon arrival so we could pick up some things before the store closed for the night. Very fun! As for the apartment itself, it was lovely and we would very much like to stay here again soon! It's in a seafront building with pretty period features, great light, and a wonderful balcony. Everything was very clean and easy to use, and it was quiet at night. We immediately felt at home here, no issues whatsoever. In fact if it had a washing machine for the clothes, I could envision spending a month here easily. As for Menton, we loved it too. It is beautiful with lots to see and do, and is a short train ride away from so many more fun adventures in either France or Italy. Overall we LOVED our experience here. Merci Beaucoup!

We were met on arrival by Catherine who explained and showed us everything with the apartment. We were mother and daughter staying for a trip to the tennis in Monte Carlo. Nothing was too much for Catherine and we would recommend this property to anyone. The position overlooking the Med is second to none. I walked to the bakery each morning for fresh croissants for breakfast only minutes away as is a pedestrian mall which we enjoyed strolling through. Great cafes and restaurants in easy walking distance. We wanted to stay longer. We’ll be back. Thank you for such a happy time

Second stay in this apartment after a gap of a couple of years. It's been well maintained, it's clean and bright with a spacious living room and fantastic views. Great location for all that Menton has to offer. Great service from new property managers too.

Light, airy and simply but tastfully decorated this appartment has fantastic sea views from the dual aspect living room. It is clean and comfortable with a good bathroom and a small but functional kitchen . A great bonus is it's proximity to the market , shops and restaurants. Catherine was delightful and extremely helpful . The parking , which was extra , was well worth it . A great stay .We hope to return .We have stayed in many apartments on the Core d'Azure and this is one of the best .
