We stayed in this home with our family! Great location, just a 2 minute walk to the beach. The house has everything you need and 2 sets of washer and dryers! (BONUS) The 2 bikes were great and every beach toy and chair are there for you to use. Nice and clean and comfortable. Would definintley stay here again!

We were first-time VRBO users. for this trip. Owners were very helpful with all of our questions and very responsive to our needs. Great property in an excellent location. We could easily walk everywhere in PB! Overall. a great experience and fun trip!

We've visited San Diego several times for spring break, and never in a more convenient location. The house is steps to the beach, an easy walk to the grocery store and close to a little tourist shopping and tourist-centered businesses. With all that, it was still quiet at night, and we could sleep with the windows open to hear the ocean. A heavy rain led to some water leaking in, but the owners responded right away to our email about that and a few maintenance issues, and they offered to address things right away or right after we left. The unit was very clean except for some mustiness on the ground floor which is maybe more about all the winter rains and not actual cleaning.

This house was the perfect place for myself, my parents & in laws for my wedding weekend! Three good sized rooms was perfect for three couples. One bed room has two bunk beds for additional guests. Location is hands down the best on PB. Close to so many great restaurants and bars. Out door seating on all three porches with ocean views on two of them. Check in and our process was exceptional. Would love to come back here again!

We truly enjoyed the property! Housed our family nicely, adorable neighborhood, and within a few houses of the Beach, the Bay and many restaurants. I would recommend this Mission Beach property for all ages!

We had a family wedding and decided to stay in San Diego for Thanksgiving weekend. The house is just steps from the beach and close to restaurants and bars. The house met our needs. The living area is great as is the upstairs deck with a view of the ocean.

House was the 7th house from the boardwalk so was a short walk to the beach. There was a lot of space and plenty of great amenities. You can tell the owners care about a great experience for all who stay there.

The closeness to the beach was great. The rooftop sitting area is the best part of the house. The house was surface clean. The top floor bed sheets and pillows seemed to have not been changed from the last visitors. It was a hot week, which couldn’t be helped but, airing out the house before we arrived would have been much appreciated. A few fans on each floor of the house only circulated the socked-in heat. This felt like rental property and not real cared for. Sorry but this was not a quality stay. I sent a few suggestions to the owners as well that , hopefully, benefit future visitors.

Great place for all 9 of us! Could walk to store, shops, restaurants, beach and bay side. Had all I needed in kitchen to cook. Very responsive and nice owners. Fit all our needs and will go again!

Family Vacation 2022 was the perfect escape from the Arizona heat. Week was spent at the beach or walking around to various shops and restaurants, all within walking distance from the house. The house was spacious enough for 4 adults and 6 kids to exist comfortably! We enjoyed playing games on the downstairs patio and even experienced a proposal on the rooftop! Host was attentive to communication. Would stay again and recommend to anyone!

I take my family to Mission Beach every Memory Day weekend. We have stayed in many great places near the boardwalk and this was no exception. The rooms were all great and gave each group a place to rest and relax. The 2 giant patios are amazing including the top which has great views. Ciara was amazing as well as she was able to help up with a few issues in a very timely manner. I'd suggest this as a great place to stay and will try to stay again myself.

Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. There was fun and relaxation for all to be had.

Our two families loved staying at this property! It was great to hang out in the communal spaces and retreat to our separate quarters when needed. There is so much outdoor space, which we loved. The access to the beach is also amazing. Would definitely recommend for large families or for a small group that prioritizes privacy.

Stayed here with extended family for a few nights ans there was room enough for everyone. Views from the top balcony were fantastic and garage was big enough to fit a Tahoe. Great spot, would definitely stay here again.

The house is amazing. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own "quiet space" as needed, but also large enough common area to all be together. Super clean and the hosts covered off anything you could possibly need for your stay. The location can not be beat - maybe 40 steps to the beach!! Plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, grocery, etc all within walking distance. Was an amazing base for our vacation to San Diego and will certainly book again when we come back

Great place to stay, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Garage large enough for a Tahoe and Jeep. House has a ton of extras- 2 beach bikes, beach chairs and sand toys. We look forward to stay there again.

After two delays because of Covid, our family finally got together. Little two year old cousins who had never met got to scream and be wild with each other. There were three families sharing the house so having a floor for each family was perfect and then the addition of three bathrooms made for easy living. There is so much for all age groups to do, we spent time at The Plunge, Belmont Park, the beach, Lego Land, and the San Diego Zoo, There are very strict regulations about noise within the community so if you are going to this house to party it may be a problem. The houses are very close, so noise is an issue but we were pretty boring and in bed by 9.. The garage was able to fit two Dodge Caravan type vehicles but it was really tight and took a bit of help getting them both in. The beds were comfy. There were sand toys for the kids, SUP, i think there was a surf board there, and two older bikes which we never used. Could have used a few more coffee cups and silverware but otherwise the kitchen was well stocked. Had one request in for Cliera and she responded very quickly and pleasantly. We had a great time!

This property has lots of room for everyone to spread out-exactly what we were looking for as we were traveling with a baby. The roof top space was amazing at the end of a long day. This property is located very close to the beach, the boardwalk for a sunrise or sunset walk, and there are many really good restaurants within walking distance. We are from Maine and found the properties are very close to each other, but that's just us! We are used to lots of space. This is the city, so expect lots of people. That being said, at night, you hear nothing! It's a very quiet neighborhood. I gave the cleanliness a low rating because the floors were very dirty when we arrived. I notified Ciara, and she was very prompt in her response. The cleaning team came that morning, and they did a great job. The beds were very comfortable-the bedrooms are all on different levels, so we all had our privacy. Thank you for sharing your space!

Thanks to Ciara and Barry for a relaxing and fun time in Mission Beach! The property is ideally located - 20 minute walk to Belmont Park (the amusement park, NOT the race track), and less than a 10 minute walk from great breakfast, coffee, groceries, and restaurants! The ocean view from each patio (there is one on every floor!!!!!) was lovely and the 2 car garage is a wonderful bonus as parking on the street in Mission Beach is awful!

Our group of 8 had an amazing stay. First off, we have been vacationing in mission beach for the last 20 years and Ciara and Barry are by far the best hosts we’ve had. They do a great job of stocking the house from beach gear to inside necessities. We ran out of propane and they came back with two tanks within 20 minutes. The house was spacious and clean with multiple areas for our group to all be at once. The rooftop patio is very comfortable and gives a great view of the ocean. On top of that the location is great with plenty of food options within walking distance. I will absolutely be considering renting this house again next year.

This was a beautiful large property for our family. It accommodated 11 of us! The owners were always available and helpful. We found this to be a desirable place on Mission beach away from the crowds to our north and south on the beach. Since they no longer allow alchohol on the beaches it is more family friendly than in past years. We hope we can return on our next trip down!

The house is in a prime location. Our family had a great beach week.

Location could not have been better. The layout of the house is also great for multiple people in family. My brother and his fiancé were able to have their own space on the 1st floor, my parents on the second and my husband and our two young daughters on the third. The add on items (like beach chairs, towels, and bikes) were a great addition as well. Only real issue I had was the house wasn’t super clean upon arrival (even though we saw the cleaning crew there - so not the owners fault). The floors left my kids feet pretty dirty, there was still a lot of dust and sand. There also was a few broken items (fans/fridge cubby) etc. However, Ciara was really engaging from the point of booking and into our stay (with questions like bike lock combo) and provided a great check-in “booklet” both hard copy and electronic copy that was very helpful for our group. It was a hot week when we stayed, so next time we would bring extra fans to help with cooling and airflow...otherwise we’d for sure stay again.
