The ‘ensuite’ was an outhouse.

Staff were very friendly. Loved the fact that dogs were welcomed. Grounds looked well kept. Our bed was really comfortable.

One of our units was really filthy dirty. The blankets definitely had not been washed. There was rubbish under the chairs. Dirt on the beds, grubby fridge and dirty dishes left in the microwave from the previous guest. Beer cans were under the Unit. The units are right against the main road, so trucks passing quite regularly during the night, would wake us up.

It was quiet and peaceful.

Could not get internet service even though it stipulated there was WiFi available. When I asked I was given excuses such as we've had trouble with the service dropping out of late, it was mentioned that the occupants from the night before never complained which I found hard to believe as certain areas of the cabin and toilet facilities were not clean and hadn't been clean in as many days. Would not recommend this stay to friends or family.

$120 for a small cabin wasn’t good value for money. Room badly wants renovating. Air conditioner held together with duct tape that was hanging off the unit.

Probably a little too far out of Bowen, if your only staying a night on the way through then ok, but we stayed 2 nights

Easy access off the highway. Room was all that we needed for a couple of nights to crash. Staff allowed us to bring an extra bed to put in the room. Nice little set up. Staff made sure we were able to get in after hours and instructions were easy to follow. Quiet, surprisingly didn't hear much noise from the main highway at all.

Couple of cockroaches in the room when we first walked it, but they weren't anywhere to be seen after that. The room was a little out dated but met our needs just fine.
