Everything was just perfect. The breakfast was delicious with lots of extras. Especially the home made brown bread.

The house is very nice and cozy and Anna is a fantastic guest. We loved our room and the beds are super comfy and warm! And then, the breakfast was delicious. We had homemade typical brown bread and scones, and were able to choose some warm breakfast like scrambled eggs or typical irish breakfast. Everything was perfect, a real pleasure to stay here!!

This is a lovely bed and breakfast - safe, clean with wonderful hosts. Anna made us feel right at home. She had a great suggestion for us to go see the Aran Islands, which we did. And her breakfasts were just wonderful.

We loved this stay, our host Anna greeted us our first night with a warm welcome and called the local golf course to see if they were still open for a meal. the room was large with lovely linen and was spotlessly clean. we had a delicious full breakfast every morning piping hot and served by a smiling friendly Anna wile looking out at the ocean. Galway was perfect, this B and B was GRAND!

Very nice place and location. Hostess and family were super helpful and friendly. Unlike other places which cut corners, they provide top sheets, face cloths, robes, and power strips for both nightstands. Best pillows in Ireland!

Had a lovely Friday night stay at Claremount House. Anna was a wonderful host and the place feels like home away from home. Rooms and facilities were spotless, there was free parking on-site, a garden at the back and the bed was very comfortable. The property is very close to the Salthill beachfront and I was amazed at how scenic the view from the beach was. Although Salthill has a plethora of shops, bars and restaurants, I enjoyed a 45-50 min walk along the promenade into Galway/Latin Quarter. Alternatively a taxi is only about 9 Euros and there is a bus stop nearby too. Anna cooked up an amazing Irish breakfast the next morning for my long drive back to Dublin. My only regret was I couldn't stay longer.

Some people may not like the property being near to a petrol station. However it is completely closed overnight so wasn't an issue at all. It was actually quite handy in the morning when I needed to fill up my rental car!
