The location cant be beaten in the region, we think. Right next to the lake but only a 15 minute walk to the next beach and a 30 minute walk to the bustling zone of soorts with all its shops and restaurants, we had a great time choosing from the various offerings. Car parking is plenty and the pool, albeit small and intimate (careful if you have loud kids) is a welcome place to cool off after a morning on the beach in the sun. Breakfast was on the smaller side, but had everything you need. I personally would prefer more choice of cereals (muesli, or granola), but that's about it. Restaurant food in the evening is of fantastic quality, but the choice is a bit lacking (especially if you don't want meat every evening!!) In a nutshell, a great place, a great location, maybe not ideal for fuzzy kids (see below)

The rooms we had were on the smaller side, but had everything we needed. The only word of warning we give, the half board menu isn't very kids friendly (at least not for kids born and raised in the UK). The staff tried to accommodate us with some spaghetti, but it was clear that was only an afterthought. The grown ups food is of fantastic quality and we enjoyed it very much.

The dinners were exquisite and , if you stay here it’s worth the extra for half board, very good french cuisine. Also the kids loved the pool, was a good size even when busy.

Wonderful location overlooking the lake. Very comfortable beds. Pool looked good but we didn't try it out. Restaurant had view of lake. Food was great. Very friendly staff

The hotel is well known to us and situated overlooking the lake in Hossegor. There are plenty of areas inside and outside to sit and relax and the heated outdoor swimming pool a delight. The staff are charming and both dinner and breakfast most enjoyable.

Our only criticism was that the hotel did not supply towels for poolside use. Had that been mentioned on the website we would have arrived better prepared.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is nicely located with views over the lake and our room enjoyed a large balcony. The dinner and breakfast were excellent and it was nice to have a comfortable bar and lounge area, so often lacking in French hotels.

The toilet and bathroom were rather compact. Nothing else!

Staff were friendly and helpful enough for France. Asked for an ironing board however and was told to come downstairs and iron my clothes in a random conference room instead of it being brought to my room or even allowing me to bring it to my room myself. For the price we paid that is shameful service.

Room was small, old, basic and extremely over priced even for Hossegor. Don't waste your money with this hotel.

The location is nice and we were able to have breakfast on the balcony. The staff were very helpful even though the sanitary measures meant that there was no catering service.

We thought we were going to be able to see the sea from our room, but all the rooms on the seaward side were being renovated or were taken. We made the most of the sunrise instead. Would have been a good idea to have a kettle in the room since there was no catering.
