Location.

I have stayed in this hotel several times and it was very nice. It faces the rive Rhine and there used to be a breakfast buffet with an access to an open-air terrace. All this is gone. Now it is a self check-in and no staff to be seen anywhere during the day except for the cleaners in the morning. The room had no coat hangers and insufficient towels. There was no bathroom amenities like in the past. We had to call a number provided with the reservation to ask for coat hangers and towels. This is very inconvenient and bad service. Breakfast was included in the form of croissants and coffee downstairs, very messy and not clean. Everything looks run down. The price of rooms stayed the same, it is not cheaper.

Centrally located, comfy mattress, fan, low price, free coffee

Very noisy street (until late in the night), trash bins without plastic bags in room and bathroom (very unusual in a Swiss hotel).
