beautiful pool, stunning location, spacious apartment, comfortable beds, very clean and well maintained, friendly staff

very limited use of towels..no pool towels-they would charge 2 euros per towel to go to pool but they were bath towels. they should invest in a different colored towel system like many hotels have for pool towels…like a bit larger and light blue for tracking purposes. also, breakfast not worth the 20 euros a person…we ended up not going since food wasnt really that good, and we just kept fresh fruit and bread in our room.

We loved the garden setting ..and unique location set high on a bluff overlooking the plains below.. .the Pool area was suburb...generous seating options on the property ,stunning summer flowers, excellent English speaking staff were all so friendly and obliging

the fact that there weren't rails descending down to the Reception down the steep stairs, the ivy growing up the main stairs outside up to the front door needed trimming so that the rails could be held properly the internal steep stairs were hard and there needs to be warnings that these actually exist/...ie not good for older people not enough power sockets and perhaps Muti boxes by each bed might be more helpful Attic rooms were too stuffy and sky light roof window was broken and could not be easily open nor could it be left open was there a sign to tell the staff that for the environment we did not need daily fresh towels or our beds made...totally un necessary...too much washing and water use no sign saying we could use the laundry to dry wet clothes? did not like the design of the dining room too modern particularly plastic chairs and no pictures or painting on the walls....... nice to have had an opportunity to make our own tea or coffee during the day in the restaurant also a small fridge freezer in the reception to buy cold drinks and ice cream during the day to enjoy by the pool perhaps to buy alcoholic drinks in the evening to enjoy outside no rubbish tin in our bedroom. no sigh saying the plastic cups were disposable...real glass would be better anyway more vegetarian options on the menu warm shower Label by the Pool...hard to find and too cold!!

We loved our stay at Volumnia Country House. The owners and staff were incredibly helpful with all our needs. Personally I would have loved some veggies at breakfast, but thats me! The rest was yummy delicious.

The weather was the only down side. Too rainy and cold to swim.

Breakfast was good. Great flexibility to arrange an extra bed. Good communication.

Heat of the water was sometimes not reliable.

I had a wonderful experience at this property 15 years ago and was excited to return, and glad that I did. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen them and updated bathroom, with lovely views. The location is perfect for visiting other towns, which can be reached in about 30 minutes in any direction. We stayed for 9 days and could have used a few more days. The Umbrian region is underrated.

They were so helpful and very accommodating. We have travelled a lot recently and opted to stay here longer as the room was so comfortable

I am sorry I only stayed one night. The location is 10 minuets by car from central Perugia and is a very easy drive. The grounds are lovely and would make an ideal place to stay to explore the area. The house is extremely clean and the grounds are very nicely kept. The staff is helpful with restaurants and travel advise in the area. I will come back to use this hotel as my hub to explore this beautiful region

The shower was a bit week and I had to wait for water to heat it. The beds were OK, but not the best I have slept in, but very clean and spacious.

The property is stunning, staff are lovely and friendly, swimming pool is fantastic with beautiful views and plenty of sun loungers. Breakfast is standard and the food at the restaurant was lovely.

The property is situated next to a busy road which is handy for getting a taxi into town but not able to walk anywhere or get a bus.

I arrived late at night and the owner of the property welcomed me with arms wide open! the manager also had taken the time to make a video that showed me how to have access to the property and to my room which was so helpful! my room was a large suite on the top floor and was very cozy. The property itself stands alone looking over sweeping views of olive groves and the foothills of Perugia. That’s s place also has a beautiful outdoor lounge, a pool, and a spa. I would stay here again!

It is my and my wife's opinion that Domus Volumnia Country House it is not just a nice place to stay, but a Little Piece of Paradise. Aurore went out of her way to recommend restaurants in town and to facilitate our various tours and to really make us feel as if we were the owners. We cannot wait to get back and stay for an extended period of time. Alfredo and Susan Ciotola

Unbelievable beautiful setting

Breakfast was very good. 5 min drive to the center. Private parking for free. Staff explained where to park and eat in city center. They were very helpful. Thanks a lot!

it is always so welcoming at Domus. The pool is beautiful and the restaurant serves great value, delicious Umbrian dishes. Comfortable rooms too.

great view from property. nice garden with swimming pool and with restaurant. large appartment room. very nice and competent youn gentleman in reception. He was very polite and helpful, he shared with us some helpful information about our destintions we planned to visit.

the place is pets friendly, but the barging dogs were too loud. breakfast was in the best case just ok.

the playground was perfect for our children (10 months, nearly 3 years); the pool has steps to go in - also a plus for our children; the host recommended nice activities and restaurants eg in Perugia; staff was very child friendly

the house is directly next to the street which is of course visible on the map before you stay there, it was sometimes quite loud.. but on the other hand it makes it possible to drive in all directions of Umbria quickly - so, for us, it was ok
