Spent 8 days fishing northern Wisconsin. The fishing was decent. Unfortunately we lost a day and half of fishing time due to the high winds. The cabin is small, but very clean and comfortable. It has everything you need for a fishing trip. Being able to keep your boat at the dock for the whole week was greatly appreciated. Anna makes everything easy for the guests, and she is quick to respond to any questions you may have. We had a very good trip and are planning to go back next year. I definitely recommend staying here if you want to spend time on Grindstone Lake. Thanks again Anna.

Great location! Very clean! Amazing fishing! All was perfect until you opened up the cabinets, in all of our previous trips, spices and other basic items one may not pack where left behind for the next person, not here.

Two friends and I rented this cabin for a 4 night stay while we fished lakes in the Hayward area. The cabin was exactly as advertised, in a beautiful wooded location.. It was exceptionally clean when we checked in. The bedrooms were fine and the couch can sleep an adult pretty comfortably. The kitchen had everything we needed, though we didn't cook much in the cabin. The dock was great and they had 3 plastic chairs and a couple camp chairs we used to go on the dock with some beverages to watch amazing sunsets. Anna was great to communicate with as we prepared for our stay. Great time..... would do it again.

This was our second time at the cabin. Very clean cabin, beautiful lake. Nice to have the dock for our boat. Just love this little place.

My adult children enjoyed their stay. Unfortunately their hot spot didn’t work at the cabin, so the girls had to go into town to find wi go so they could work. I definitely knew there was no wi fi, so it really not a big deal. Would have been nice tho , since so many people work remotely. Great place!thank you

The cabin was older but it fit our needs. The lake was beautiful and crystal clear. Nice place to kayak and swim.

Nice clean cabin

The owners are awesome and the cabin was very clean. The weather wasn't in our favorite so we weren't able to enjoy the lake to its full potential. It's a beautiful peaceful area. A fisherman's dream location.

The cabin is well kept and clean. We had 6 plus and 9 month old, so a little crowded, which Anna had said so that wasn't a surprise. She was great and easy to contact. Grindstone lake is a very clear lake, spent a lot of time on lake with pontoon and swimming! I would rent again, but maybe 4 people max.

I liked everything but the beds. I've never woke up in the morning with an aching body

This is a nice little cabin on a great lake, with amazing neighbors. The hosts were easy to work with and very helpful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A quiet get-away, with a big lake, there are a couple bar/restaurants in walking distance. No WiFi, but a DVD player & Redbox in Hayward, as well as, grocery store & other amenities. Enjoyed the stay - it was a relaxing trip.

This was our second stay here and loved it again. This is an older cabin, but very well maintained and equipped. This used to be a resort. During our two stays, we've practically had the place to ourselves, especially the weekdays. The lake itself is crystal clear and although the fishing was a little tougher than last year, still very good!

We enjoyed our stay even though the weather was cold and rainy. The front steps are steep and slippery when wet. Very quiet because no one was there except us. Cabin is set quite a ways back from the water. It was challenging getting my boat through the trees to park by the cabin, very narrow driveway between the trees and small wooden retaining wall, I have a 17' Lund and anything bigger I don't think you could get through. There is an outlet on the pole in front of the cabin to plug your boat's on-board battery charger into and outlets on the porch. Nice dock on the water and great location on the lake. Would be nice to have a floor or table lamp in the living room as the ceiling light is bright.

Weekdays where very peaceful on the lake. While the cabins are very close. Didn't see or hear many others around us.

Even though the cabin is an older one, it has been very well maintained, clean and updated. The view of the lake is actually better than the photo shows. The location was quiet and the neighbors friendly. My only complaint about the fishing is that my wrists still hurt from battling all the small mouth bass! Grindstone is a great swimming lake. There are very good restaurants and bars close buy. The sunsets, sensational!

The rental was spotless, had everything we needed and the owners were very pleasant. The water was crystal clear and great fishing. This property is located near Grindstone Creek so we had access to both Grindstone AND Lac Court Oreilles. Nicely kept grounds as well.
