The location.
There was major kitchen remodeling the entire time of our stay. The noise made it impossible to sleep in or nap. The property needs major updating, very shabby. Rooms are not thoroughly cleaned. We stayed a week and our room was not dusted or vacuumed in that time.

Great location, especially, we had a gorgeous ocean view. Very comfortable bed and pillows.
Breakfast in the town was a level better that at the hotel. Next time we would not book Tara's stay with breakfast include.

Beautiful place despite the terrible weather on the day.
The Staff were wellcoming and helpful.
The breakfast was excellent and served by excellent staff.
Parking was ok as free parking in Killybegs.

School reunion friends making more memories together after 41 years what better way to spend our time away than in the lovely Tara hotel killybegs . Staff where lovely rooms where spotless lovely views. The breakfast was first class and the restaurant food was amazing lovely and warm very tasty and reasonably priced the atmosphere was easygoing.and pleasant. We will definitely be visiting in the future. Highly recommended place to stay 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.

The staff were so friendly and helpful particularly a young girl working in the bar who recommended where to go for good music.
Unfortunately I took quite ill early evening and we had to cut short our stay and again reception staff on Sat morn were so helpful giving me a bottle of water for my journey.
Nothing negative to say.

, we stayed for 3 days the lunch menu which was also the dinner menu was the same for the 3 days.
