Property was as expected for the most part and the kitchen offered way more than other other rentals have in the past (i.e. this property had a large variety of pots/pans, plenty of plates/bowls for a crowd and of all sizes, lots of utensils, plenty of plastic glassware nd mugs). Although the VRBO ad indicated 5 TVs (if I'm recalling correctly), there were only 4 TVs, but we never used the TVs, so it didn't matter. There were lots of sand toys, 2 beach carts, and several boogie boards to utilize. with a very short 1 block walk to the local beach. Our famiy of 3 adults and 3 kids had a very enjoyable stay.

Great house, great location. Our week was so not quiet or ralaxing in the house though. At arrival the sump pump was on, it was loud, we could not go anywhere in the house to not hear it. This made sleep almost impossible for us. The pump never turned off. 7 days of non stop loud sump pump was insane.

This cute house is located a very quick walk from the shore, but close to the highway, restaurants and shops. The house is exactly as advertised, and the beds are very comfortable. Our family of four had more than enough room and all the amenities we needed. We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday, so the outdoor shower was shut off. The shower inside is pretty small if you (like the author) are a little bigger. But it’s very serviceable. The outdoor shower is larger. The owners were very communicative and responsive. We will stay here again!

Super cute cottage. Very close to the beach. (Although not beach weather in Oct.) Decorated very nicely. Very nice floor plan. Only 800+. sq. ft. but feels much larger.
We didn't like having to bring our own towels, sheets, and paper towels. Yes, it's stated clearly. That's not the issue. Just would have preferred to pay a little more, and not have to bring these things.

My family was gathering for a weekend and this house has everything we needed. Ample space for the kids to eat/play/watch TV separately from the adults and the living room large enough for all 7 of us for games.
Located so close to the beach we went for evening walks and discovered tons of shells a and crabs (low tide is the best). The neighborhood is safe and this house is tucked away with good privacy.
The owners were quick to respond to my questions and very helpful. I would definitely rent this house again.

We had a great stay at this property! The house was so cute and clean and very kid friendly! It had everything we needed and more and there’s lots of sleeping room. It’s a quiet neighborhood and being such a short walk to the beach was amazing. We hope to book another stay in the near future.

We were in town visiting a family member for a graduation in New Haven, around 25 minutes away. Heather and David Galotto were great host! Responded very quickly to my VRBO messages and were very accommodating to our requests. Check-in instructions were super detailed and helpful. The house was very clean and well stocked. We could not have asked for a better location, perfectly located one block from the beach. Overall a wonderful place, we would stay again!

The property was nice. For the most part the description was correct. A couple of things I would mention, they said that Netflix was available but nothing was said about using our own ID and Password which we did not have with us. Also the coffee maker they had was a tiny 4 cup hotel size, too small for 5 adults. You can get a 12 cup at Walmart for 15.00. We had to buy one to use while we were there. The couch was very uncomfortable. But overall we had a great time! We would definitely rent from them again.

Cute Beach Cottage
Very nice cottage, close to the beach - 5 minutes walking. We were visiting family in Madison for a few days and this was the perfect place to stay. Clean and cozy. Would rent again!

Lovely
We had very nice time at cottage on Westbrook. It’s a sweet place with plenty of room for a family or more. We only had two nights and our one full day was rainy, so we spent more time at the house than expected - it was clean, cozy, convenient. Although you need to bring g your own sheets, towels, paper towels and toilet paper (1/2 roll was provided), it was surprising to find some of the essentials that are often missing such as coffee filters and bandaids!
It’s a lovely place and a nice short walk to the beach.
