Good location
And friendly staff
The room was above the fans from the kitchen so quite noisy. Tiny shower .

the bed was very comfortable, and the staff was great, very friendly and helpful.
the room smelled of smoke and many little things were broken or loose, bedside lamp, shelf and toilet paper holder eg. Shower way too hot no matter what I tried.

The bed was sooooo small we barely fit in it together it seemed more like a three quater bed.
We turned getting off as we arrived but it was very hot

The size of the bedroom
Could not get into room 8 and tried 3 times, so I was given another room after 3 trips to reception. The next day, he could not get into the new room, and when entered the room had not been serviced. Bins not empty, cups not cleaned, bed not made, even after complaining no coffee or tea replaced. Asked for a beef sandwich but no beef. As being disabled it was a lot of walking around sorting things out.

Rooms were modern, beds were comfy. Staff at reception were very welcoming and chatty.
Stayed with another couple they payed less than us and room was twice as big. We didn’t have bed and breakfast so pay separate for breakfast. £14 for a poor breakfast toast was burnt sausages not fully cooked.

Our room was noisy because of extractor or Aircon units running all night outside our room

Of all the hotels in southport The Bold Hotel is the best.Close to shops, Beach ,and amusements also rhe lakes and gardens,just so much see and do.The Bold is also good for breakfasts,Lunch and Dinner along with a relaxing drink.

From arrival to departure, the staff were very pleasant and helpful.The food was delicious and presented well andI was accomodated with a vegetarian option on the carvery at short notice,which did not disappoint.The bedroom was very clean and warm.
Felt the bath should have had the availability of a non slip mat.The drinks were expensive, but that was probably to be expected and unfortunately the promised pastries didn't arrive on the continental breakfast, a shame really as I am sure they would have been delicious.

lovely property, the decor was lovely, everywhere was warm and welcoming. rooms were a good size and very comfortable. couldn’t fault the staff, Megan who welcomed us as we checked in was professional, friendly and efficient. Breakfast was excellent too. Sadly we didn’t bring our swimming gear on this occasion, but all in all fabulous value for money.

location was ideal for the stay and the staff are very pleasant.
The bathroom is very compact. Length wise is fine it’s just not very wide if you’re a little bit broad. Would have liked to see more storage, there were only 2 small drawers and the wardrobe doesn’t have a door.

The room was very nice and clean with a comortable bed.
Did not have breakfast as did not like last time so had breakfast out.
The hotel is axcellent value for money though.
The bathroom and shower needs attention as the shower was awful with hardly any water coming out.
The room was very hot and when the window was open there was a Noise from the main road.
