Location, and clean hotel. Helpful staff.

Poor sound insulation between rooms and persistent noise from fire door outside room and other guests until late.

Room was functional, but small, a little Spartan and not particularly cosy.

The Homemade Bread is absolutely fantastic, really really good, The surrounding Trees and Lake is so beautiful to walk in, pure meditation for the eyes and soul...... and it was also possible to charge the Electric car :o) The staff, in general, but especially the reception staff Sunday morning was very kind and nice.

The curtains was really insufficient to keep the Sun out, so - like it or not - goodmorning at 06.00 AM :o( The bed was uncomfortable for, at +85 kg person. Hall and neighbor noise is very easily heard. The bar has a very - very limited cocktail menu (is the word menu is usable at all). Saturday the restaurant was closed due to a private party, which was informed on the day of arrival. No help on dining alternatives, and this closure would have been nice to know in advance, because it was nearly impossible to find a proper dining place in Skanderborg. Finally during the whole stay, the Scrambled Eggs, Bacon and Sausages get cold so fast due to their refill system, and inadequate kitchen equipment - very strange. There is clearly room for improvement, as pricing for staying here is clearly in the upper end. However if they do these improvements, which for sure seems within all reasonability, the place is worth the money - but if not, alternatives should be preferred.
