Room door had a lot of play in it when in the locked position and would sometimes rattle if the main door nearby was closed with some force (an easy fix)

The room was lovely, clean and comfortable with views overlooking the sea. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. There was ample parking at the property which itself is set in lovely surroundings.

The weather!

We liked everything about laston house.Our host Abby and her husband were amazing. The hotel was superb. We had see view room. Breakfast was delicious.Their shower room is very big and brand new.The hotel is at prime location. Right next to beach and local things. We definitely want to stay there again in feature. Their bedding is so comfy. You feel like you are at home away from home. They have nice private garden. Lots of toy selection in sitting area. Really love our stay there.My 8 years old son didn't want to go another hotel after stay here😀.Thank you so much to the owners.

Very good location on the edge of Ilfracombe. It was a short- but steep- walk to and from the town - pleasant seaside location with good amenities. Laston house is lovely. Room was spacious. Breakfast good and staff friendly. Would go back.

lovey homely feel to it, the roomed were very well equipped with everything we needed. parking was also good. Easy to find great value for money.

Couldn't have been happier with the whole experience staying at Laston House. The house is beautiful and full of character. Our room was light and airy and overlooked the garden and sea view. Breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. Made to feel very welcome, will definitely return there.

Really can't think of anything that we didn't like about our stay. Pity they can't do anything about the weather!!

The long drive from London

The house is set in beautiful grounds and inside was exceptionally clean and tidy. All the staff were very kind and friendly and the full English breakfast was absolutely delicious.

Lovely spacious room, with sea view as advertised. Comfy large bed. Very tasty cooked english breakfasts. Excellent location for walking to the quay for Lundy ferry departure and for visiting the town. Seats on lawn to relax in and listen to the abundant birdlife.

The shower head in the bathroom was loose so you couldn't tilt it at the correct angle.

Excellent freshly cooked breakfast , friendly staff. Charming house, spacious well decorated room with sea view. Good location. Safe car park.
