3 of the 4 nights that we stayed we had to ask for silence to be able to sleep on a spring bed that only gave us back pain. and at the time of the shower the water was boiling or freezing, there was no middle point

We liked the pub downstairs which was a good deal with the discount we were provided through booking with hostel and the hostel was in a convenient location

Hostel was dirty. We booked a private room which was still filthy when moving in. Crumbs on bedside table, rubbish on floor. Shared showers were either boiling hot or freezing cold, no in between. Felt dirty the whole time there. Couldn’t use the kitchen due to how filthy. Too many long stayers that take over the place. No one monitoring the hostel overnight so the other guests were absolutely feral. Room was so so cold despite a tiny heater, room was 3°. Massive light shining on the sign of pub shining directly through window. From experienced travellers. Worst ever.

They have discounts on the bar for those stating at the hostel!!!!! The bar is reaallllyyy good!!

The smell of mould in the room, the bathrooms were faulty and shower head was leaking.
