Incredibly lovely staff. Vigilant with COVID safety measures. Gorgeous room in every way, lovely, comfy bed. Felt like a really special stay!

I got a very warm welcome despite my arriving quite late due to my train being delayed. Fresh milk was offered too which is such a nice touch. Generally a perfectly run guest house, I felt very well looked after. Breakfast was super tasty and freshly prepared with great choices available. My room was well appointed and comfy and spotlessly clean. Really good location too with the seafront just around the corner. City centre can be reached on foot in about 15/20 minutes. Should I find myself heading to Plymouth again I'll be staying here.

From the time of arrival we received a very warm welcome. Hosts were very helpful and pleasant taking time and care to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The property was very clean and comfortable and would highly recommend. Excellent location The 4 star rating very well deserved

Arrived before the normal check-in time and the hosts had the room ready for us. Very welcoming and efficient reception. Plenty of choice for breakfast and the cooked food was just the right amount. Everything well presented and the Covid-safe.

The vegetarian breakfast was excellent, great location close to Plymouth Hoe and only a short walk to the city centre, very friendly staff.

Very friendly hosts, serving a great breakfast selection. The room was lovely and clean and comfy. I love that there is milk available for tea in little bottles in a communal fridge, but as I said this uht. It was a quiet location not far from the Hoe. Would definitely stay again.

The positives far out way any minor negatives. I'd personally prefer real milk for my cup of tea in the room, rather than UHT but it's not a deal breaker. The TV was not connecting to BBC channels in my room which was a little restrictive. The host did attempt to correct the issue but it didn't resolve the issue.

My mum and I have just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay at Mariners. It was practically perfect in every way. Literally every possible want, need or must have was catered for with kindness and total professionalism. Mariners is in the perfect location just off the seafront. A short walk to some nice food places too. Also only a short walk to The Barbican, passing some gorgeous views along the way. So if you are wanting a warn, kind, clean quirky stay then book Mariners. Oh and James cooks the best poached eggs too 😋

Perfect hosts, very welcoming and helpful, Everything was spotless, and a yummy full English breakfast to set me up for the day! I couldn’t fault them or the guest house, would 100% stay again

Breakfast room was Covid friendly, clean and extremely well stocked. Location was perfect, as we are walkers - it was a couple of minutes to the coastal path, five minutes to the Hoe and ten minutes into town. Everything in walking distance. Loved the Barbican - another short walk - lots of history - amazing place, with quirky shops and plenty of eateries.

The shower could do with a little attention and the bathroom was very small. Having said that, everything worked and was fine for a short stay.

The owners were friendly. Hotel warm, immaculate, clean , cosy. Breakfast lovely
