Pros: Beautiful view, spacious with great layout, super comfortable beds and pillows. Cons: Shower in one of the bathrooms did not have hot water. Contacted host and Zen vacation multiple times - they sent someone out to look at it but did not notify us that they were coming and when we we weren’t in left. The owner said they’d come out and also have maintenance come out again, but didn’t. Because we specifically rented this property (and paid the extra money!) for the two full bathrooms this was disappointing. Especially because they did not offer apologies or take any steps to compensate us for only getting part of what we paid for. We also requested dish soap or dishwasher detergent and did not receive. If weather cooperates this isn’t an issue (unfortunately we had two rainy days), but TV is finicky connecting to tv apps and internet connection for the TV is a bit choppy so some issues with buffering. Older Samsung SmartTV only has Netflix and Prime. Chromecast does not work.

Room was clean and was exactly as advertised. Great view of the city and ocean. Building amenities and beach were very accessible. Very happy with our stay overall.

This place had it all! Beach, pool, good restaurants and an incredible view! Laurie was wonderful to work with and the condo was lovely. Only glitch was that our key card stopped working after the first day and we had a couple of trips up and down the elevator to get it remedied, but the staff was helpful in fixing the problem. Overall, a wonderful get-a-way!

Unit was exactly as advertised. Views are amazing. We enjoyed spending time on our balcony. Beach access was a breeze. Will visit again.

We loved our stay here. It's a penthouse on the 40 floor with ocean and city views. It's a perfect family getaway. The view from the balcony and rooms were breathtaking. Easy check in and out. Neat and classsy unit. Highly recommended!

Lots of rules (towels). Absolutely no checking in before 4:00 (even requesting it a day in advance). Beautiful place! Pool was 90+ degrees.

Everything in this stay was great! We enjoyed the beautiful view, and the pool. The room was for two bedrooms and had everything needed and more. The staff was great, and all very helpful. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back! I highly recommend this stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this modern, 40th floor condo at Hallandale Beach / Hollywood FL. The views from the large balcony facing north were wonderful, with the city lights to the left and ocean views to the right. We saw a manta ray and manatee in the waters down below! The pool area was on the 9th floor and well kept. The service from the host company was excellent (before, during, after) our stay. When we ran into some issues during our stay, they were quick to respond. The location was in the heart of lots of hotels, restaurants, shops, etc., which also made the traffic scene a little crazy at times. We provided feedback at the end of our month-long stay re: kitchen supplies and linen upgrades. I am confident they will be just as attentive to these items for future travelers.

This place was amazing, set up very well for two couples. The view was fabulous. There was always an open line of communication. Great hosts!

Laure's apartment was just as described, clean, well stocked, spacious for 4 people and had the most incredible view!!! I highly recommend staying here and would stay here again. The resort itself is right on the beach, has a beautiful pool deck, a gym, and a spa. We spent most of our time at the pool because it was never very busy and there were always cabanas available. Co ktails at the pool deck bar are ridiculously pricey honestly so be prepared. The only bummer was that the pool closes at 6pm every evening which is when my kids would have liked to swim until 7 or 8pm.

Confrontation makes me so uncomfortable, however I cannot in good conscience not let it known to other potential renters what they are getting into. The condo itself is very clean and beautiful. The view is beautiful. The first night was fine because we didn’t try to use the property. The next day, we decided to head down to the pool. We are 3 very fair skinned people that need shade in Florida sun. The only actual shade was in a chained off section that said “owners only”. We ultimately decided we would just go to the beach instead because atleast then we could have an umbrella. We were given a paper map in the lobby and were told that the close beach area has only 20 beach chairs total and it’s first come, first serve. 20 chairs for a building with 41 floors! If that was full we would need to back track a quarter of a mile to the other end of the beach and see if they have availability there. Not an ideal setup at all and definitely doesn’t give you that Zen feel! Once we got back up to the room to clean up, we realized we were almost out of toilet paper. We asked about getting more and we’re told that since we weren’t hotel guests and we’re instead considered owners we had to go purchase our own toilet paper elsewhere. There were also zero dishwasher tabs. This was very inconvenient for us to have to go get. The elevator takes forever when you are on the 40th floor and we didn’t have a car because we flew in. The next day, we went to the pool very early in the morning before it got too hot since there weren’t umbrellas we could use. My sister then said, “wait didn’t they say we are considered owners? Hey, atleast we get one perk we get to use the umbrellas.” We were able to enjoy day by the pool then. The next morning, as soon as we sit down we are told we need to leave the area because we are not owners. I said, “but we’ve been told we are considered that” and he said “no, you must leave!” It was so embarrassing! The next morning we go back to the pool and our things are far away from the owners area. My sister is standing near the edge of the pool and is approached by a security guard telling she must move her items from the owners area. It wasn’t even our stuff and we weren’t over there at all. The last thing is I paid for late checkout, only to have our key deactivated at 11. Had to go back down and use a lot of extra time getting keys redone!Awful! *Oh and signs say no outside drinks at pool. 3 bloody Mary’s $68! (Only lime garnish)

The property was beautiful, had awesome views and easy to get to, and was close to everything we wanted to do. The host was awesome with communication. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star instead of 5 is due to the AC not working at full capacity and the travel walk to the beach chairs and towels along with the slight rudeness of the front desk lady. The latter two are outside of the control of the host. Other than that, highly recommend and we will visit again in the near future.

My family and I wanted to getaway and luckily found this rental! Very clean and spacious. 3 beds, 2 bathrooms and full kitchen is paradise for a family. We were able to enjoy each other and have our own Me time. The balcony is almost a wrap around and extends across the unit. The view is AMAZING! I woke up every morning to a beautiful sunrise and the sea of lights at night makes you think you're in Vegas. The property has excellent concierge and treated my family like royalty. The 2 pools on the 9th floor were wonderful. We made friends at the pool and enjoyed every minute. The condo is close to everything. We took full advantage of hanging out in the resort and outside in the area. The hostess and Zen provided white glove customer service and my family and I can't wait to come back for another vacation!!! Thank you Zen!!

The property was exactly as described and Zen communicated efficiently throughout the process. Everything was clean, modern and in good working order. It was also quiet, we never heard noise from other guests. We ended up on the 40th floor which had amazing views. Others have commented on the wait times for the elevators and that can be frustrating. Leave yourself enough time to get to the ground floor. Also, the beach area that is reserved for resort guests is a couple hundred yards up the beach. Didn't bother me much but again, planning is important so you don't have to make too many trips back and forth. Would definitely book again

Owner was very responsive. Condo was clean, quiet and well-equipped. Front desk in the building seemed under-staffed during check in and check out times. We did not have any elevator issues as mentioned in other reviews but did hear others on midlevel floors complaining about the wait.

We had a lovely stay at this high rise condo. The unit was plenty big for the four of us. My husband and I with our 17 & 14 year old children were very comfortable. Modern, clean and tasteful decor. The location is convenient to Miami, Ft Lauderdale, restaurants, shopping, and the airport. You can see the Hard Rock Guitar hotel light show in the distance. Convenient parking with valet. Laundry in the unit was extremely helpful and convenient as well. Owners were pleasant and responsive via email. My only minor neg comments: We went on a very busy spring break week so getting the elevator and then the many stops along the way to the 40th floor made for a slow trip up and down. Also, the area for the units beach is not right behind the building but a few buildings down the beach. So not easy to get back and forth from your beach chairs to your room. Supplies in unit are also minimal/basic. We had to buy toilet paper, paper towels, and dish washer detergent when starter supplies ran out (surprising for the rental price). Housekeeping does not respond to "owners" which VBRO renters are considered. But a Publix 5 minutes away. The Japanese restaurant in front of the beach is beautiful but hard to get into for dinner (at least for us on busy week). Definitely make a dinner reservation ahead of time. But do go! We went for drinks at the bar and it is a very cool scene and lovely beach views.

Place is in great shape with beautiful views. Good pool scene and right on the beach. Only drawback would be the slow elevators.
