Overall good experience

The location just blows your mind as you enter. We visited in March and the place is surrounded by snow capped mountains on all sides! The property manager Ashish was very warm and friendly, he accompanied us on a walk and kept us entertained. When we visited, the property had 2 very cute Bhutiya puppies which kept our kid entertained throughout. Accommodation was modest. A kettle for boiling water was provided. Heater could be rented on per night basis. Hot water was available throughout the day in the bathroom. Food options were limited, but upon our request the manager did try to add a little variety during our stay which was nice. Mobile network strength of Airtel is excellent at this location.

We felt the place would have been a tad more clean. For example, the flask in the room was probably not washed in a long time, and the puppies often wandered into the dining area, which guests may not be comfortable with. The property does not have a fully functional restaurant, and as a result often times guests have to go all the way to JoshiMath or Auli for lunch. Both JoshiMath and Auli are ~5 kms away from this place. If food orders are not placed in advance, you may end up with nothing to eat. We reached the place at lunchtime after driving from Rudraprayag and there was no food, so had to venture out in search of food. While the hotel is located at a very picturesque place, there are no good restaurants available in the vicinity. Sound proofing was not enough in the rooms, since the location is exceptionally quiet unlike cities. Sound travels very easily and we could hear everything going on in our neighbouring rooms.

The location was great and the view was excellent. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Place was very neat and clean. Food was very good and tasty. Response time of the staff in attending to our requirements was very nice. The extra bed provided for the third adult was very good.
