This little Gem is in a superb location. Nice and peaceful but not too far from the village of Porlock. Clean and cosy, well equipped, suoer comfy beds.. Ideal for a base for Exploring Exmoor. Would definitely return.

B/fast n/a...self catering. Location places you close to amenities and local walks. Porlock is a comfortable 10min walk which has good range of shops and food outlets. Cottage was warm with adequate room for two. Lovely views from front front windows.

Garden a mess. No recycling. No wifi. Welcome mat most unwelcoming. Downstairs smells of dog. No scart lead. No logs. Hob & oven temperamental. Historic faults (various) reported in victims book left undone. Pantry a mess. Immersion tank loud enough to wake you. Loo seat ill-fitting and loose. Wardrobe & chest in dbl bed dwarfs room. Sgl room no lamp. Suggested parking op bungalows prevents kerbside collector vehicle access (and poss blue-light veh).

The best thing is the location. It is a wonderful place. I really appreciated the privacy & comfort of the house. The kitchen is very well equipped, Bedrooms are comfortable & quiet (you can hear just pleasant sound of stream)

As a first - there have been provided incorrect information about the size of accommodation. On the website is 130 square metres. Probably erroneous conversion from square feet. The size is actually about 50 square metres. Another minor problem was with the very dirty oven - we prefered not to use it (no intention to clean someone else's oven during my holiday; O) The stairs to the bedrooms are not suitable for disabled/elderly people

Comfortable cottage for one or two people. Nicely furnished. Very comfortable bed

It would be too small for more than two people really and it was really cold when I arrived. The heating could do with improving.
