Loved our spacious and clean room with our view of the sea! We dined at the restaurant and our meal was the best! All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and professional.

The location only.
Very dirty. Rented 2 rooms, in both rooms no warm water for shower, none of the electricity plugs worked (so couldn’t charge phones, could use kettle, hairdryer, tv or the fridge)
The bbq and pool is totally covered in animal poo.
The rooms stinks very badly.
Called and messaged to receptionist several times, they called us back at 9pm saying that the manager will get in touch with us next day (they never got in touch with us)
Horrible experience, never go there.

The photos on booking.com didn’t do the room justice!!! We stayed in the “Humpback” room & had a lovely view of the ocean! The Reno’s are crisp & simple - the style definitely reflecting the environment the hotel was surrounded by!

Fabulous location, view and atmosphere. Loved the decor. A great mix of modern and historic features.
Bathroom was lovely and spacious but could do with more bench or shelf space so we didn't have to place all our toiletries etc on the floor. Also could do with a couple of extra towel rails or hooks.

Big rooms, French doors to a balcony which if u choose to sit in them have your phone in reach because you’re gonna need help out of them (unless you’re an athlete)

It was a great location and the hotel next door, which the motel is co-owned, is amazing! Unfortunately the booking information seemed to be part of the hotel.
The motel is quite separate and is rundown. They are charging a premium price trading off the hotel. Plumbing from adjoining room is completely audible and lights (assume security) outside the room were on all night flooding the room with light. No way to turn off! Bed comfort just tolerable. Very little sleep! No power points near bed and fluorescent light above bed was broken and held together with a cable tie!

Great bistro.
No air conditioning in ocean view room meant an incredibly hot room. Beautiful view but curtains had to be drawn. All rooms facing the ocean had curtains drawn. Staff agreed the heat in those rooms is “dreadful”.

Great spot, lovely old hotel with great food. I stayed in the motel which was very comfortable, loved the balcony.
Trying to find the bathroom light switch, which it turned out was obscured by the towels... :-)

The staff were under staffed but worked extremely well together to make sure the hotel ran smoothly. A credit to all that work there .

great position, beautiful views
We thought we’d booked in the new section of the hotel but had actually booked in the motel section next door to the pub so double check this if you want a nicer room. The motel rooms are dated but clean and tidy so for the price they make sense.

The accommodation is very tired and in need of a makeover. It was not particularly clean and hair dryers are only available upon request which is very surprising.

we love the location because it is close to the wharf for fishing
1. too hot in the room because there’s no aircon
2. Didn’t sleep well on the first night because of mosquitoes in the room so we bought an insect spray and sprayed the room
3.There was a dead cockroach in the cutlery drawer and the smell of the inside crockery cabinet smell cockroach
4. cobwebs on the bed head light and curtains
5. Maybe it’s good if they can provide a microwave just for heating up food
