The property is Modern and well designed.
Some restroom doors lock you outside and you need the help of a receptionist to unlock them for you to either take a shower or use a toilet.

Bread not fresh
Very Limited western food ie- no pancakes or French toast that is standard in most good restaurants or orange juice.
Internet continually is a problem. Shuts down Or you continually need to reset.
This is a huge problem that ownership/management never fixes. Been this way on all visits in past also.
Front desk. Many of the people can’t speak English. They don’t understand 10% of what you’re trying to say. To be clear they are courteous & polite but to not know English at the front counter.
Finally the rooms. Sliding doors did not lock & people on ground level could walk in. Floor Cabinet fixture was pulled 4 ft out from wall as an electrician was I suspect trying to fix something behind and left it out close to bed

Our booking details were captured accurately and we got what we booked. The Victoria wing is amazing, very child friendly. The breakfast is great, the rooms r very clean especially the suite. The front office desk staff are amazing offering exceptional client service. The hotel staff offered a surprise birthday treat for my husband which made made it more memorable😍Thank you MRH team, we will surely come again🙏🏽
We ordered a plater for dinner which wasn’t so tasty. The meats and fish had a flat taste…. bet it can be improved☺️ The breakfast is great but the dinner ( a lacarte ) was disappointing🤭

The food was great.the staff were brilliant especially Lillian on reception and George for helping with everything .my wife's family live in mbale and when visiting us in the hotel they were made feel very welcome

the hotel was better than other hotels seemed to be in the area, and the riims were reasonable.
the fly screen on the balcony kept falling off, the bathroom has dirty shower curtains and was not really that clean, the restaurant by the pool had musuc that was too loud and the food was really disappointing for the price, and the choice was disappointing too.

Almost everything. Lovely hotel in lovely location but access roads not so good but bring upgraded. Breakfast excellent in nice outdoor situation. Staff excellent

It takes around 20 minutes to walk into Mbale town centre. The grounds are nice. The beds are comfortable. We had a balcony which was great for drying clothes, the shower pressure was fantastic, and there was a nice bathtub in our room.
There were two of us, but every day, only one water was provided. When leaving, I had to specifically ask for a bill. Unfortunately, the fridge in our room didn't work, so it was not possible to leave part of the large restaurant portions for another day.

Was disappointed with a lot of things. Other things about the hotel was passable/ mediocre.
The Sparrows restaurant staff insisting I order chips with my food instead of rice. She was insistent on it. What about customer’s freedom to choose what to eat? If she wants chips, she can order that herself and stuff it on her mouth. I heard one staff chuckle at me on the phone. She insisted she was laughing at someone else. It doesn’t matter. You do not want to make your guest feel uncomfortable. The restaurant staff needs to learn that customers can order what they want to eat and not to let customers here they laughter so as to make customers feel comfortable.

the staff was very nice, the rooms are big and provide slippers, shower amenities, there is a fridge, big comfy beds. and overall we had a great stay at the hotel after a long day of travels. recommended.

We booked basic room in the old block as good value. The electronic lock on the room did not work noepr could it be repaired. So upgraded free of charge to very splendid room. Brilliant so grateful for the attention shown to us. Breakfast very good. Good WiFi

if there was zero stars , I would . as they show big hotel , when we go their , they say pay 50$ (108) more to get that hotel room . or you will
be send in a different motel set up , where no security or no reception is there . it’s like a lodge

The rooms are great with nice balconies.
The receptionist caused a lot of stress by telling us the hotel was fully booked although we had confirmed reservations already. This was disheartening.

Location - We stopped in Mbale on our way to and from Sipi Falls. We were very glad of the rest from travelling and so the location was perfect for us, like an oasis!
Room - Clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable.
Facilities - Pools and restaurant are excellent. Breakfast was very nice and a good variety.
Staff - Very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the welcome drink on arrival!
The only flaw we could mention was that the mosquito net above the bed made the bed feel a little cramped. It was a round one that tucked in rather than the four poster style meaning it cut the corners off the bed. It wasn't a major issue though.

genuinely friendly staff who were prepared to go well over the call of duty, food to a gourmet standard while still reasonably priced and affordable, rooms to a high standard, room amenities included tooth brushes, luxury shower gel and shampoo. hotel pool really nice.
can’t fault the resort and definitely going back there - really family friendly. stayed there with my family for 3 nights and wished we had spent a week there.
