I couldn't reach a manager in person or by phone despite being told by multiple staff she was available. Our parking space was taken the entire stay. We were only given temporary use of another space after I refused to leave the office without resolve. The dryer tumbled, no heat. The bathroom door didn't close. No privacy. The balcony railing was loose - very unsafe. They had a microwave install scheduled 3 weeks in advance and we had been guests 4 days. They failed to mention it to us and instead called when they were in the elevator on their way to our door at 9am. In about 30 seconds, we had two men enter our condo while myself and my teens were in our tees and panties. They left the construction dust everywhere and despite being told someone would clean - no one did. I tried in person, by phone, etc to discuss this with management. After we checked out, I received an email stating my complaint was reviewed. Still no name, contact info, etc to speak with someone. Location is directly across from John's Pass and that is wonderful. Our condo was spacious and did fit our family of 8. We had unit 408 and my parents had 409. I have seen Sunhost reply to negative reviews stating they don't manage the property. I have receipts to prove they do. Trust the negative reviews.

Even some simple things like better towels & some rugs would be a start...

Our guest bathroom sink was leaking and our dryer did not work properly all week. We also had a group of teenage boys that stayed right above us (no parents in site) that kept us up all hours of the night. We called after called twice about the noise and though I know management isn't there in the evening it was very annoying.

I showed the Maintenance guy when he came to get the TV's working that the air conditioning was screwed up.That night it got to be 81 in the condo and there was heat coming 11:30 that night I called the emergency no. and they said someone would call back asap, then a half hour later, a female called back and said they would take care of it in the next morning. It was very uncomfortable that night trying to sleep! The next morning, maintenance had to call the owner for the code and then realized the circuit breaker had tripped. Then it was fine! I did mention to the lady I talked to the night before that I felt I should be compensated, no reply!Other than the air conditioning problem everything else was great!!

The kitchen counters and floors could have been a bit cleaner as there were some food remains/crumbs. The view from this unit was beautiful looking out directly onto the beach/ocean and listening to the waves. The only downfall with the view is that adjacent to Beach Place is a public parking area which in the evenings starts to fill and the parking lot and beach directly in front of condo has loud groups of people hanging out/milling around.The beds were comfy but the unit is in need of new window dressings. This was the units biggest downfall. People sitting on the balcony patio can see directly into the master bedroom patio door since just a sheer curtain. The other bedrooms; you could see into bedroom from the buildings outside hallway since blinds didn't close properly. The unit had a nice supply of bath towels. Would have liked more kitchen towels since only two supplied. Nice having the washer and dryer but dryer needs to be replaced. Took forever to dry things!!!The unit had 6 beach chairs!!!!! What a bonus! We were grateful for that! Wish there would also have been a small cooler or cooler bag to take tobeach since with flights / luggage we didn’t bring one. The pool was nice with plenty of seating. We would enjoy the beach till too hot and then would come up to the pool to cool down.Every day we would walk across to John's Pass. Was nice and convenient to be close enough to walk.The elevator was old and super slow.Unit had No hair dryers & could use some more basic kitchen utensils/ items like a pizza cutter, aluminum foil, clear wrap or a few plastic containers with lids for any leftovers want to put in fridge. There weren’t any of these items in unit. Enjoyed Hubbard Marine deep sea fishing trip & would recommend eating at The Friendly Fisherman & Crabby’s. Overall w

You cannot beat this property for its location which makes up for the slightly dated attributes. Clean property and perfect for my husband and I and our grown children (4). Have friends in the area so when they were there enough space for all. The beach view is perfect. Got to see a lot of boats make their way through the John’s Pass. All in all, a good property.

location is great, view is great. carpet needs replaced BAD, shade on bedroom door to balcony should not be see through....if people are out there they can see you changing clothes if you aren't aware. too bad they can't take some closet space and make at least one bathroom have a walkin shower. overall we would stay again!

Our unit was absolutely filthy. Minimal amenities in kitchen. Had to request new frying pans as those provided were unusable. Carpets and recliners were filthy. Battery clock dead. I replaced battery. Dishwasher did not clean dishes. Black mold on tub faucet in master bath. Thick coating of dust on dining lights. Our grandson is severe asthmatic. Had to clean vents ourselves and he had to increase meds while there. Table meant for 6 chairs but only 5 provided (and an extra peice of a chair in the cupboard). Music and smoking from public parking area so bad had to close doors at night and unable to use balcony. Those responsible for that jumped fence and used pool at will. Minimal towels provided but yet said unit slept 8. I have pictures if needed. This unit should not be rented to anyone else until updates are done!!!!

The unit was nice with anything we needed for staying or eating in but the location of the unit was perfect for so much fun at John's Pass!

. It’s been 25 years since I’ve stayed here and thought I’d bring my daughter and her family for this holiday weekend and relive some of the memories I had as a kid . And we sure did. I think it’s the best spot in Madeira Beach for convenient things to do, extra public parking right next to the complex for those days you may have day visits from friends and family but most importantly the most spectacular sunsets you’ll ever see. I’m giving 4 stars only because the unit needs a tiny bit of updating. (ie. Bedding , carpet, and most importantly kitchen utensils like more pots and pans and definitely knives that can cut. Every knife in the drawers was dull and could barely cut a vegetable . The stove worked 100% but visually needs to be replaced. It would be great to have 2 parking spots too. If you have a unit that sleeps 6-8 people you need an extra spot as you can’t fit 6-8 people in one car! But overall it was an amazing stay and I’ll definitely be coming back with my family again !

Second time staying here, different condos. 408 has very comfy beds, and nice furniture. the front(hallway) bedrooms should have light blocking blinds for privacy also. A condo accommodating 8 people should have 2 parking spots, one of our parties had to pay an additional $40 to park in an adjacent lot. The ac is restricted to 72 and it's way too hot to sleep!!!!! Maybe ceiling fans would be a nice addition. The icemaker did not work very well either, and window treatments didn't operate correctly. We had lots of fun and have lots of great stories. We will most definitely be back.
