The view with the waterhole is amazing. The game drive inside the lodge is nice. In particular you can walk close to Rhinos. The staff is very professional. We really enjoyed our stay here

The rooms deserve a renovation (for the price we pay for this lodge).

Facilities are excellent. It's an immersive experience in the landscape and its inhabitants. Food is great and staff friendly and knowledge.

Very nice location that has a view over the waterhole from the restaurant the pool and the room we were in.

We could not use the other room because some of the group had covid. We announced this well in advance but the communication with the reservation line is extremely bad. they dont respond or they respond extremely slow and dont address the question you raise. At the end they only told us AFTER our stay that we would not get a refund/voucher for the one room. If they would only communicate this in time we would have been able to let friends stay there who where in Etosha that night. During covid it is important to communicate properly with your guests and they failed completelym therefore the low mark. NB. the staff on the ground were excellent.

My wife and I had a truly fantastic time at Ongava the staff were terrific and the location was fantastic, a special mention to our game drive ranger Kapona he was extremely knowledgeable about wildlife and helped to us to see the animals up close whilst remaining safe.

We had very little to complain about.
