This is my third time staying at Clearview cottage. It’s my go to place for a quick getaway from Sydney. The cottage is cosy and charming and the views and access to the lake is spectacular. Many beautiful memories have been made here. Thank you ☺️

Loved staying in this cottage. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked including nice wine glasses. The nature reserve at the end of the street is amazing along with a kiddies playground. Very peaceful and relaxing stay which is what we were looking for. A large shopping centre only 5 minutes drive away. Would high recommend !!

What a gorgeous cottage sitting right by the lakeside . The accommodation was exactly as described. Facilities were terrific with 2 separate bedrooms plus extra 2 singles if needed. Lovely family area including kitchen with everything you need opening up onto the deck for early morning coffee watching the sun rise. Easy access which was beneficial as we had elderly in-laws with us. Bonnells Bay was only 4 minutes drive for groceries. Perfect location.

The whole family enjoyed the stay. Cottage was clean and a great weekend getaway, home away home. Have everything you need. Definitely will come back again.

Cut short by other demands but very relaxing visit thankd

After working for the last 18 months in the most stressful contract role ive ever had, i was in dire need of a getaway that would bring me back to baseline, something that would sooth the difficult experience id had. This was it. Even upon driving into the street and seeing the vastness of the lake, i immediately felt my blood pressure drop and new then i had made the right choice in a holiday home. In just 1 & 1/2 hours drive from the absolute mania of life in Sydney city, we'd found an oasis of calm and serenity i hadn't thought possible, without having booked into some specialist retreat. The cottage is quaint, full of charm and without question the closest home to the waterfront. The property was beautifully clean on our arrival, and while the bathroom may appear a bit dated, i promise you wont be disappointed by both the strength of the water pressure and the penetrating heat of the water system - truly ive travelled the world and can safely say, this is the best shower ive had in a long time. Be prepared for birdlife to visit you on the balcony, and while we attempted fishing from the shore, and had a few bites....the fish were smarter than us on this occasion. We have promised ourselves to visit this property again in the future, perhaps in the warmer months, albeit we enjoyed our winter stay aswell. There is a nice big tv and heating provided, although if there's anything on my wishlist, i could see that a gas/electric fireplace would suit the living area spot on
