This beautiful cottage has everything you need. The hosts have thought about every detail which makes it a home away from home but with spectacular views of the bay right from the Kitchen, dining and lounge rooms and the back veranda. Such a special place!

We loved Clearwater Cottage - had everything we needed and just felt so peaceful and calm. The deck is stunning - you can't get much closer to the water and you could just sit and watch what was happening around you - a stingray visit, flying fish, kayakers, a few boats passing by, the lapping water sending you to sleep....
We took inflatable kayaks which made it even better - a sunrise kayak is a definite must to watch the sunrise over the glassy waters. Perfect.
Will be back!!! Thank you to the owners for sharing this little gem.

A lovely, comfortable cottage right on the lake.
We enjoyed the cool water breezes even on a couple of very hot days, sitting on the verandah and gazing out at restful water, pretty boats and a wide ever-changing sky.
Thankyou for a lovely place to rest, replenish and re-charge!

Very clean and comfortable home in a great location. Nothing better than sitting on back deck watching the water and boats. Park just down the road was lovely for an afternoon walk. Will be back again, this was our second visit.

Such a wonderful place to stay, even if it was just 3 days and 2 nights, to relax and destress. Fishing was just outside the back door, kids were able to wade and play just at the edge of the lake for safety, different birds coming and going, and the peaceful vibe of the whole area just resonates within you. Here’s hoping we can come back again next year!

Peaceful . It was a good base for visiting the area.
Interesting birds. The first morning, 4 magpies and a Rainbow lorrikeet appeared on the balcony.
We plan to return.

Beautiful quiet location on the lake. Perfect for kids to paddle around, fish and picnic in the sun. Loved sitting on the deck overlooking the lake.
The boatshed was a hit with the kids to hang out in also.

The view FANTASTIC, but it was moderate clean, the mattresses were awful, there was no WiFi in-spite of it was in the listing, the iron didn’t work too and overall it’s not a clean place.
But overall we enjoyed a lot, the view, neighbourhood were very good and relaxing, thank you anyway.

What a lovely little cottage set on the beautiful shores of Lake Macquarie with absolute water frontage. Stunning views, plenty of room, super comfortable with everything you need. We had a fantastic weekend and will stay here again for sure!

This place is unreal, absolutely perfect for the family who love fishing and kayaking. To have the water at your doorstep and the use of a jetty was too easy . The house was as described and we can’t wait to have another holiday here , perfect getaway place

This was our second stay at Clearview. The property is directly at the water, with a jetty and boat shed (to be used as an additional play or relax area). Perfect if you are interested in some fishing! Although it was early January during school holidays, it was quiet all around us, just what we were hoping for. We were pleasantly surprised by some updates to the living and dining area, and it was super easy to communicate with the hosts. We hope to be back soon!

A beautiful stay in a beautiful view location, we had a week of a relaxing and very enjoyable time, we did kayaking and paddle boarding with lots of intention to do fishing but finding that relax too much so the fishes were spared, love the place can’t wait to go again. Will definitely be back

My family and I enjoyed staying so much, everything was so clean, comfortable and had all the amenities e wanted and needed. Going out and sitting on the patio and drinking our coffees while watching the water and listening to the waves was magical!
