Very clean and well stocked kitchen.

Things to watch out for:
Could not adjust temp of hot tub, it was set to high.
I guess it was hard to get a person to fix garage gate and was not too happy about waiting for a response from company about what to do because gate would not open. We had to basically push gate open to park. It was not acceptable to have the company simply tell us to park on the street as there were zero places to park on the street.

The WIFI was very, very slow. The unit has only 1 TV and it was always buffering, very hard to watch sports. An upscale place like this needs to have very fast Wifi.

We have stayed in several properties along the beach in Oceanside. This house offered just what we needed for the week, and will most likely rent again from Oceanfront. Assuming the property is rented most of the time, it was in [good shape, one of the showers needed a cartridge replaced, the property mgr had a gentleman from maintenance over within an hour of the call and he was able to replace it the following day! To anyone with kiddos this is a great home away from home!

Perfect for a family get away!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We intentionally chose unit 809-5 because it was advertised as accessible with an elevator. When we arrived we found that the elevator was not working. We wandered the property for 30 minutes just to find access to the unit as the only clearly marked identification was on the front door, which was only accessible by elevator. My husband had to haul all of our luggage up three flights of steep stairs. Access to the unit was a struggle for all of us but impossible for two out of our party of six, which was the reason for the original choice. I contacted management immediately only to be told there was no estimate for when elevator would be repaired and that they would contact me regarding my concerns for our family members unable to access the unit. I was not contacted until after we checked out despite calling two more times. During one of those calls Nanci was extremely condescending and rude. The elevator was not fixed until halfway through our 6 day stay. By this time, our two family members had been forced to return home to Arizona being unable to access the unit. This was extremely disappointing. I repeatedly brought this to management’s attention along with the fact the water was shut off without warning twice during our stay. I also reported the very spotty WiFi to Peter when he finally called me back after we had checked out. I was disappointed and really disgusted by the fact that although this issue essentially cancelled the vacation for two of our family members and caused significant issues for the others, I was offered a refund of $100 of our $7300 charge. I find this behavior insulting and lacking complete compassion for our handicapped family members not to mention a totally irresponsible and tone deaf response from a company whose one and only job is customer service. They should be ashamed!

Their garlic press is broken abd needs to be replaced! They also need new knives! There were no knives for chopping, only smaller cerated knives. The dishwasher isn’t secured with screws, so the racks tip forward! The refrigerator needs to be replaced. The ice maker doesn’t work, and it got so cold in the vegetable bin, it froze fresh veggies. Because it fits next to a wall, it wasn’t conducive to pulling the ice maker out because the freezer door couldn’t be opened enough. Always a poor design to box a refrigerator in, not allowing access to drawers and/or the ice maker, Overall, it was a great property for our needs. When we ran out of propane for the fire pit, we called and a new one was promptly delivered! They supply a Mr. Coffee drip coffee maker. Knowing that, we brought our Keurig from home. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this property. I would, however, strongly suggest the dishwasher be secured and refrigerator be replaced!

Each person had their own room and the view from the living room and balcony were spectacular. Plus, there is a small convenience store that has all your basic needs (including diapers and wines) just a 2-minute walk from this unit. And the kitchen is large and allows the ability to make great meals, when you do not want to order take out. Every room had windows that allowed the sound of crashing waves to lull you asleep. There is a small walk out patio that was never cleaned. Not all our maintenance requests were resolved but we made do. We also returned one day with someone parked in our assigned space. When you wake up in the morning and walk down the hallway, you are greeted by the ocean. The panoramic doors and large deck make it really special. The unit is very spacious and can fit a large family easily. I counted bedding for 14 with the sofa beds. The condo (especially the kitchen) is extremely well-stocked. One hassle is that there isn’t a garbage disposal (to empty food scraps into the trash is smelly and just plain gross). Two garage parking spots is a real plus. Loved having an elevator. There is one TV in the living room that uses streaming service. WiFi is strong.

The exterior of the building is very ocean-weathered with rust. Anything metal is crusty and rundown. Looking down from the balcony, there are two drainage ponds on the ocean side that are pretty unsightly. They are empty with dirt, weeds and I even saw dog poop.

All that can be lived with for the spectacular condo. All except...the sounds of the train blaring. The tracks are just a block away. Every time the Coaster/Sprinter passed through the intersection of Coast Hwy and Wisconsin, they blasted the horn. This continued until 3AM each night. It woke me up every time and the last night I checked the clock...1:25AM, 2:28AM, 2:59AM. It started back up just after dawn. The trains may be going to the north Oceanside train yard because there can’t possibly be passengers in the middle of the night. I have never had so little sleep on a vacation.

It is very enjoyable to lounge on the deck, take beach walks (sand only available in the afternoon as the waves make it all the way to the rocks other times) and take in sunsets worthy of a screen saver.

The beginning of our trip was a little rough, but it ended up fine

This is a stunningly beautiful property with everything we needed for our family weekend getaway, It was so close to perfect! Just wish the beach with actual sand was closer- it’s about a 1/4 mi walk to sand. There is no beach only rocks directly in front of condo. Views cannot be beat though from the balcony, and decor is modern and clean. It was very clean on arrival but a couple of dirty towels were left in one of the bathrooms. Love the kitchen with huge island and everything we needed to cook meals. Appreciate the gas grill and fire pit; and the extra propane tank was nice! A great stay!

The BBQ didn't get hot enough so it took forever to grill burgers. The patio heater ran out of gas. Some of the electrical outlets didn't work. Freezer door didn't open smoothly. Had to have repairman come. The bed in the back room was very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. There was no laundry detergent. Beautiful view of course.

This was just a wonderful stay at the nicest VRBO I have ever rented and I have rented many. The views and the house are amazing and it is such a roomy house. We had 8 adults and loved every bit of the house. We ended up spending most of our time on the porch with the lanai door open and just took in the amazing views and sunrise/sunsets. I can't recommend this place enough!
