Did he location of the property related to the beach was awesome. Just steps from the back door to the beach. House needed some maintenance. Outside bushes near the entrance from the road need trimmed back. It was clean and well equipped.

Absolutely perfect home. Very clean, spacious and well equipped! We sat on the porch for our morning coffee and watched the dolphins swim by. The kids had a blast. We extended an extra night and even then we didn’t want to leave!! You won’t be disappointed here folks! Book it, make memories:-)

Great location, beautiful views! The house needs some maintenance, especially to the deck.

If your looking for beachfront can’t beat the location, however serious maintenance issues, rotten and uneven decking kids got slivers, missing and loose railings, water gets in under door seal during heavy rain, missing pieces of siding, exposed electrical/junction box dangling through rotten soffit, outside shower dripping continuously due broken valve, worst exterior of any house in area, interior acceptable .

The house had everything you could need and more. There are three decks overlooking the ocean, room to spread out and in a great location on the beach.

Good but our trip was marred by an electrical problem that took three days and two different people to correct it. It meant having maintenance people in the home with us for part of the first three days. There were no lights in the kitchen and the outside security light at the top of the stairs was not working creating a safety hazard while trying to navigate the steps. Interrupting our vacation and not have full, uninterrupted use of the home was not what we expected or wanted. Some reduction in the amount we paid would be fair considering the inconvenience and full loss of use.

Excellent location and house. Enjoyed our stay. Will be back for sure.

The view was absolutely amazing. We saw lots of dolphins in the morning and beautiful sunrises. The owner was great with corresponding quickly to my questions. One suggestion is to replace the deck boards as they are dried out and a trip hazard. I would get the windows checked out also and suggest updating the tile floors. I do think the price was a little too much for the property.

Wow! All I can say is that this house is located RIGHT on the ocean, and the house itself is beautifully decorated. light and bright. Christiana was really easy to contact if we had questions and she helped with all our needs. Hope we didn't bother her too much! We'll be back next year! Highly recommend!

Wonderful home right on the beach. We spent a week in October here and the weather was fabulous. The home is furnished as advertised and the Owner (Christiana) is super responsive. We've spent many weeks at Topsail over the years. This week - in this house - was the best so far.

Home is comfortable. The deck has lots of seating, a gorgeous view, and a shower. Having a great beach as your backyard makes for easy entertainment. Seventeen of us, ages 78-5, had plenty of room. Kitchen is roomy with plenty of amenities. Appliances seemed to be new. An air conditioning issue was dealt with immediately. This was our family's second time spending a week at this house, and all agree it was the best family trip ever.

Our group of 13 had plenty of room to spread out, and everyone had a wonderful time! The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We’re looking forward to staying here next year when we make this trip again!

Beautiful, well kept property. All of the amenities listed in the agreement were present. The beds were very very comfortable. I would like to buy a bed like one of these for my own home. I have no complaints. We will be staying this property again in the future.

My family and I traveled from St. Louis and we absolutely loved Top Sail! It is a family friendly beach and we had plenty of room on the beach for games and for the kids to run around. We even had the daily (5-6 times) flyover from the marine base, which was pretty cool. The home owner Christiana was fabulous as well! We had no issues and she was very quick to respond to any questions we had while we were there and prior to our stay. Overall a great vacation and very grateful we chose this beach and this house!

We were very happy with Dolphin Daze. We had a lovely vacation. Even got to see Dolphins. The owner was very involved if we had questions or problems. It wasn't the cleanest place, a lot of dust but the owner apologized and was going to talk to the cleaning staff so we were happy with the outcome. Thanks again for a nice place to stay. Perfect location for us and we pretty much had our own beach!!!

June 2018, my family of 4, along with my 5 sisters, 1 brother and 4 other nieces and nephews gathered from Missouri and Kansas to vacation together. It was a slice of heaven. The home was outfitted with everything we needed. What we didn't have the housekeeping service was quick to respond to and so very nice. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable, and plenty of hot water for showers There was a shower out on the deck to wash off in. I've conversed several times with Christiana (owner) and she couldn't be nicer to work with. I have nothing negative to say about our rental experience. I wish we could have stayed a month. If there was one thing to add it would be an outside shower with doors where you could remove your suit to really get the sand out, but the location would make that tricky for them to provide. We loved everything about it and hope we can go back next year.

This unit is a great place for anyone who wants do cook while they are at the beach. The owner has provided all you need in the kitchen. She has also updated the decor, which is really attractive. One bathroom still needs updating, but everything else was nice. The master bedroom also had a great reading library. We rested very well on the comfortable king and queen beds.. The location is great with the beach just outside the door! We even managed to catch some nice fish in the surf. The large deck can easily accommodate any chairs you bring with you. Our only suggestion would be for a table lamp next to or behind the couch to make reading easier. Christiana was very accommodating and easy to work with.

If you are looking for a great beach without all the commercial traffic, this is the place for you. the home has plenty of space for your group, ours was a group of 13. The beach is just a few steps off the patio. There is plenty of parking space for several cars. The home is well equipped and if any problems do arise they are quickly remedied with a phone call.

The house was great for our family of 17. The bedrooms were quite, even with young children awake and playing downstairs. The main living area is very roomy for dinning and playing table games, etc. The house is right on the beach!! Food Lion grocery store is 5 minutes away. Surf City is 10 minutes away!! We enjoyed our stay at this house!!!!

Stayed the last part of June with a large family of 14 adults and 4 kids. We loved it here. We used the kitchen every day in one way or another and felt right at home. Lots of kitchen gadets supplied. We did bring a few specialty items like a juicer for making drinks, but basic stuff was all there. We all fit nicely and felt comfortable. We could hear the waves crashing all the time! Beds weren't the most comfortable, but not bad. There was some normal wear on the house from the salt and sand, but being right on the beach made up for it. We saw dolphins swimming and found shark teeth on the beach, which was so fun! We honestly stayed on the beach a lot. Surf City does have a few things to do, but not the biggest town. But we wanted something more private with this beach, and we definitely found that here. We did do the turtle hospital tour and loved it. We were also able to rent a boat and see some more of the landscape. We also had dolphins swimming right along side our boat! Bring your own beach toys and chairs or buy there at a surf shop. Boogie boarding was insanely fun as the waves were great and it was pretty shallow most times out where you could get great waves. Honestly the only thing we would have maybe changed was just a tiny bit cleaner when we arrived, but not bad at all. The grill was really really gross and we couldn't find grill cleaning tools. So we did have to go take care of that before we could use it. That was the biggest problem I remember. Oh and the shower didn't work outside (but there is a hose to spray off). So it was really difficult to get all the sand washed off every time we all went inside. But I'm sure that is why it was kind of hard for the cleaning lady to get it spotlessly clean for each new family. There was a family staying in the other side when we were there, they were very nice, and we definitely couldn't hear them at all. Overall it was an amazing time, and all my family had a blast. Just trying to list these things to prepare people who visit. We can't wait to come back here. We were all so sad to leave. Just the most beautiful beach, and wonderful house with helpful owners. So thankful for all the wonderful memories we made with our family!

The view is spectacular from every floor. Perfect for a large family gathering. We spent Thanksgiving here this week, and the kitchen was the perfect size for cooking a large meal. Between the bar and the dining room table, you can seat 15! We left the back door open during our Thanksgiving dinner, and had the crashing waves in the background. So memorable! The living room has the most comfy couch ever, and the home decor is perfectly updated. At any time that we had a need, we reached out to the owners via the VRBO app messenger, and they responded quickly. They truly desired for our experience to be great. Looking forward to another chance to enjoy this rental.

This rental is literally right on the beach. The house is situated right above the dunes so you can see the ocean from every level and the sound of the ocean in the evening was fantastic. You could see the ocean at all times. It was fantastic. We enjoyed the sound of the ocean from the bedrooms as you fall asleep and we watched the sunrise over the ocean from bed. It was that fantastic. The rental is very cozy and had everything that we needed - particularly in the kitchen. Each time we thought "I wonder if they have...." and sure enough we found it. We stayed in October and the weather was still warm during the day and a little chilly in the evenings. It was all around perfect for us. We were also approaching a full moon so you could see everything on the beach late at night for a few days. Absolutely stunning! Our trip was delayed two days because Hurricane Matthew stopped by on the day of check in so we had to hang back until the area was passable. The owners made every effort to keep us informed regarding the conditions and we followed updates on social media from North Topsail who did an exceptional job of providing predictions, warnings, etc. Even though we had less time than we had hoped, the trip was still well worth it and we had a much needed relaxing time. The back deck has nice chairs to sit and be immersed in the beach. The deck would benefit from a table to enjoy beach-front dinners on the deck but still nothing that takes away from the property in any way. Thank you!! Hope to rent sometime again in the future!

We just returned from our stay at Dolphin Daze and WOW! The home was very comfortable, cozy, and so well decorated! We truly felt at home there. Best of all, the location was unmatched to anywhere else we've ever stayed. It was also our first time in Topsail and it was truly a memorable experience. During our stay, we enjoyed everything from fishing to crab hunting at night. We also took a drive to Wilmington and checked out the amazing Battleship and the Cape Fear Serpentarium. We are thankful that we came upon this beautiful home and hope to return again next year!

Right on the beach, just what we wanted! The beach was peaceful and not crowded. We saw dolphins almost everyday. The kids chased and caught crabs and the shells are everywhere! The water was always warm :) Excellent views from three rooms of the house, plenty of room for everyone. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back!

We just stayed here for vacation! This was our first time to Top Sail and it was fabulous! The beach was beautiful and very private! The house exceeded our expectations and was a perfect size for our family! The decks were perfect to sit outside and enjoy the ocean breeze! We loved the way the rooms were set up! Can't wait to vacation again!!!

We stayed here for a week with 8 adults and 4 kids (ages 10-16) and had an amazing time! The house had plenty of room for all of us and is exactly as pictured. The deck area is wonderful for going outside and enjoying your morning coffee while looking out at the ocean. LOVED being able to just walk out the door and be right on the beach. For those with kids, this beach is GREAT for finding shark teeth! We had a blast searching the shoreline for them, and came back with a ton as little "souvenirs"! We cooked all but one of our meals at the house (the last night we ordered pizza from Max's in Surf City) - outdoor grill was very convenient and we bought a ton of amazing fresh seafood from a little market we found in Surf City. The rental was also conveniently located just 5 minutes or so from the Food Lion in Sneads Ferry, which made it very easy to just run out for groceries. There's also a great little bagel place near the Food Lion called Minervini's - would recommend giving them a try when looking for something easy for breakfast! During our stay there was another large group renting the other side of the duplex, but we barely noticed them (no extra noise or anything like that) so it really felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Checking in and out was smooth and the owners were very helpful when making the rental arrangements. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future family get togethers! I would highly recommend the home to others who are looking to vacation on Topsail Island.

Spring break 3/2013 Family Vacation was wonderful. House, clean, comfortable, roomy and the owner responsive. Nice size kitchen for the whole family. The breakfast bar was roomy and made it easy for a large family. It is literally a few feet from the beach and the kids really enjoyed seeing the dolphins swim by. We had the beach to ourselves and that was pretty cool too. Again, thank you for sharing your home.
