"Valley View" is accurate - the view from the deck of the cabin is gorgeous. It is the perfect spot to sip coffee in the mornings or wine in the evenings while taking in the view and listening to the peaceful nature sounds. Andy was a perfect host - answering all questions we had promptly. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Beautiful cabin and gorgeous views! The drive up wasn’t bad at all! It was truly a blessing to unplug and disconnect from the world for a week, much needed!! We will definitely be back!

I absolutely loved staying there, there were a few things that got missed in the cleaning before the stay but nothing major. Plenty of privacy and beautiful views. They have everything you need from laundry supplies to kitchen utensils and dishes. They even had milk and juice in the refrigerator. I hope to be able to stay again soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Valley View. It was a great place to just unwind from the hustle and bustle of life and just enjoy some family time and an incredible view! The cabin is very warm and inviting.The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the gas fireplace on the chilly mornings and evenings. The location was close to great hiking trails. The hot tub was a welcomed way to relax after a full day of hiking. The only thing I would warn others about would be the drive up to the cabin would be difficult in a two wheel drive pick up truck due to being so light on the back end and spinning in the gravel. Most cars or suvs should be fine if they are all wheel drive. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

The property has an absolutely stunning view and is a great place to disconnect! Great communication with the host and easy check in process. I would only book if you have 4-wheel drive!! We did not and regret that decision.

Third year in a row. We’ve loved every trip. Central to area towns we enjoy visiting such as Bryson City, Sylva, Dillsboro, Franklin, to name a few. The house itself is perfect for us. We love the high ceilings with second floor pool room. The view is spectacular and the main reason we keep coming back.

Wonderful Anniversary Getaway!
This place was perfect! So relaxing which is what we were going for. Time stood still and is was so peaceful. The sunrise I. The mornings was fantastic. Definitely want an AWD vehicle. But we had no problems in our Subaru Crosstrek. Highly recommend!

Amazing Views
My husband and I spent 4 wonderful nights at this wonderful cabin. The views were amazing and we loved how secluded it was. Unfortunately we had a power outage that threw a kink in our dinner one night but the owner was very responsive and actually gave us a refund to cover our dinner. If you are looking for secluded and relaxing this is the place to stay. No internet or cable gave us the time to enjoy each other’s company. It’s a short drive to Bryson City or Cherokee where there are many things to do and see. I would definitely stay again. Thanks for everything Andy!

Mountain top retreat
What an amazing trip and cabin; Andy went above and beyond when it come to anything and everything about our stay. The views were spectacular, the cabin had everything we needed and MORE, and we cannot wait to stay next year. This cabin is perfect for a small or large family as well as the fur babies. A true Gem & Fall paradise
Description and directions are extremely accurate, our trusty Subaru made the trip just fine! The drive up is windy but so worth it for the amazing and astounding views. We witnessed some of the best sunrises we have ever seen there! Close to many great adventures, Deep Creek Trail, the Smokey mt railroad, the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, and more. We even made the trip to the Biltmore in Asheville and back. Everything was clean as can be, directions and accommodations were all above our expectations. Wonderful place to stay and unplug and take in all the area has to offer! Thanks to the owner for sharing their spot with us and hope to return again someday in the future

Dangerous drive!
Glad we arrived during daylight or we probably wouldn’t have made it up the mountain. Cancelled our stay after one night due to having to travel up and down multiple times for wedding festivities. Would not recommend this location unless you are staying put. Less than clean accommodations.

AMAZING!!
This place was everything I hoped it would be. It was exactly as described and pictured on vrbo. The cabin was beautiful and well maintained and the wrap around deck offered breathtaking views of the mountains (wine at night, coffee in the morning). Very easy to communicate with the host who always had more than prompt replies. I will absolutely book this place for future travels in the area.

Family vacation with all you need.
This place make it a memorable time for our Family vacation with friends. We cooked every meal, packed lunch for our hikes at the Smokey, and come back to chill out at the hot tub. Has a pool table that the adults can play.

Everything was great, views were spectacular from both the balcony and the hot tub. Drive up to the cabin was a little scary, but Andrew provided precise directions, minimizing surprises. When we had questions, Andrew responded very promptly. Short drive to the smoky mountains. Also enjoyed the firepit and the pool table. thoroughly enjoyed valley view.

Mountain Cabin
Nice mountain get away! Easy access to SmokyMountain NP, Bryson City, Sylva and Cherokee.
Cabin was very nice and well stocked with the amenities we needed. Made daily trips to area attractions, including Smoky Mountains NP for hikes, sight seeing and wildlife viewing. Especially enjoyed seeing elk in the park.
Driving up and down the road to the cabin from Whittier requires focus and we usually planned to be make the trip during daylight hours.

Valley View visit
We had a great time! Very peaceful location and the hot tub has a beautiful view. The road was a little difficult for us as I did not read the info stating that a four wheel drive vehicle is recommended. We made it though.
