location and cleanliness

It was clean and the views were beautiful.

The entry door did not latch unless it was slammed shut.

Place was very clean. The pools were nice and distance to beach was short.

For starters we couldn't get the air low enough to sleep comfortably.... it was supposed to be be three bedrooms but bunk beds were stuffed in a closet smaller than then the laundry room. This room was extremely hot and cause claustrophobia. The sink in the kitchen didn't work so we had to call for someone to fix it. The code to the pool gate didn't work.

We love the location. We love the condo. We love the fact that it was really fully stocked with cookware and utensils. Never used squeegee mop. We went Christmas 2021 so most things were closed on Christmas day but it had so much stuff to do for everybody. I can only imagine how it would be summer time. We spent Christmas Eve and day at the beach. The sun was out the whole time. The while family agreed that this was THE BEST VACATION EVER! To see the sun come up and go down on the balcony on looking the beach that's a few feet away was EVERYTHING!! This spot is great for the family couple's girl's or guy's trip. I'm not making this up OH AND THE TIME DIFFERENT THING JUST PUT THE CHERRY ON TOP OF THE WHOLE 4 DAYS 3 NIGHT.

The location was a plus with beach access. The beds were comfortable. When I contacted Eric at Hosteeva about the issues with the condo, he was quick to correct the problems and offer solutions. Since we were only there two nights, and leaving the next morning, we turned down the offer of having a cleaning crew come in and disrupting the last afternoon of our vacation. However, we were very appreciative of the expedient response we received from the booking company. I would book with them again, but with a different condo location.

While we were there, the condo was performing renovations on the outside of the condo with jackhammers starting at 8:00 a.m. that sounded like the floor was collapsing. Had we known this was going on, we would not have rented this location. It was impossible to take an afternoon nap. The floors were not clean. After walking in the condo for an hour (NOT on the balcony) the bottom of my socks were black! See Photos!) The tv in the living room didn't work and we discovered there were not enough batteries in the remote. WE finally took the batteries out of the bedroom tv, but someone showed up on the last evening of our stay with batteries. While cooking one night, I retrieved a small container from the cupboard to put some lemon slices in and found it was dirty with melted butter in the bottom. That made me question the cleanliness of the other dishes we were eating off of. (See Photos) There were supposed to be a couple of laundry pods for the washer but they were nowhere to be found. I also thought it was unnecessary for the condo association to charge $30 for a parking pass since the owner obviously had two spots. If they had to charge for this, it would have been easier to take had it been included with the rental charges.

Right off the beach but only a short distance from ANYTHING you want to do

The condo was beautiful and convenient. We loved the master bedroom and bath, as well as the view of the beach. The master bath was spacious and the walk in closet off of the bathroom was a pleasant surprise. I loved not having suitcases in the bedroom and being able to hang clothes. Additionally, the choice of art, color scheme and decor seemed well thought out, and relaxing. The condo itself is in a great location and you can easily walk to the state park and pier from the beach. Everything except the small bedroom looked like the pictures.

The small front room was a closet. When we arrived it was in a disgusting condition. Nose droppings (boogers) were smeared on multiple walls, a soda can looked as if it had exploded all over the lamp and one wall,there was ketchup or blood by the light switch, black dirt smeared on the railings and the window that was inches from the bed was covered in black mold. After spending a couple hours of our vacation getting it cleaned (we scrubbed it with two containers of Clorox wipes, had multiple calls with the rental facility and then housekeeping returned) there was no way my child wanted to sleep there. I couldn’t blame her. She stayed on the living room couch for the entire trip. Even if that room had been spotless, it should be noted it is by the front door and very small. The window adjacent to the bed is by the walkway where people pass so guests are unlikely to keep a small child alone in there. Likewise, the room is too small foe anyone larger to comfortably use. There is not enough room to fit a suitcase unless it is placed on a bed and it would be a very uncomfortable for any child taller than about 4’6’’ to sleep. The ceiling over the top bunk is lower right above the head space so a larger child can’t sit up without bumping their head. Also, the beds are not regular twin size. They are smaller. If anything, it’s a good room for a 5 -7 year old. It is essentially a converted utility closet. Other things renters should know: There is no deadbolt on the front door that you can control. Just the automatic lock and a flip lock that was broken. Maintenance did quickly repair the flip lock when I reported it. Lastly, just so renters are prepared, while they say it’s a 10% deposit on booking.com we were charged 30% when we made the reservation. What Hosteeva has in the rental agreement is NOT consistent with booking.com. I can only upload 4 pictures, but took many.
