This was a wonderful property for a family get away. The extra steps that needed to be taken with the association are a little cumbersome but the host was very helpful. As to the house itself, it was great. I’ve stayed in many rentals and this has by far the best stocked kitchen I’ve seen. We were able to make everything we wanted during our stay without having to improvise because some tool or pan was missing. Patio deck and back yard were amazing as well. One morning of while eating breakfast, a deer walked up working 10 feet of us, the kids were thrilled.

My family had an awesome 10 days’ vacation! The house was absolutely spotless, nicely decorated and very comfortable. There were many high-end appliances available for use as well as toys/games for the kids. The owner was very responsive before and during our stay and made the entire process very smooth. All the Arrowhead Lake amenities were within a short distance: lake, pools, playgrounds, tennis courts… We also enjoyed just relaxing in the backyard (there is no property behind the house so you can have direct access to the woods), listening to nature and observing the abundant wildlife. I highly recommend this vacation rental!

Beautiful home inside and out!

Our vacation house was everything and more. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. And the community amenities kept our grandchildren entertained.

Flawless property, very clean, basics provided as well as towels and soap basics. My family enjoyed our stay very much and will return for sure! My kids enjoyed renting kayaks and exploring the lakes in the community. The island pool was great and has a snack bar too! Can’t say enough good about this rental experience.

I swear we should have stayed at this property for a whole week instead of just a few days. The location was perfect. Nice and quiet. The home had every amenity you can think of. Because of this trip I might have to get an espresso machine. The Host was so accommodating with everything and was very quick to reply to us anytime we had a question. This was our first VRBO stay and it certainly won't be our last because of this awesome experience we had at this home. Highly recommended!

The house we stayed is very well maintained and clean. Got everything we need. The community has plenty to do, beaches, pools, kayak, biking and hiking. The host is very attentive and always responds promptly. Highly recommended to others.

A serene property within ALCA that backs up against state game land with easy access to hiking, biking, and swimming... We had a wonderful weekend escape with four adults and one older teen and were never wanting for anything but more time... Coffee and tea drinkers rejoice ! Espresso machine, water kettle, Keurig (X2)... Well stocked with various blends. We brought our own coffee equipment and never used it. Val is an attentive host and answered all of our inquiries fully before and during our stay.

The property was beautiful and very well kept up. We spent time at the pools, beaches and doing day trips around the area and loved having this as a home base. The host was great and we wanted for nothing.

Property was extremely clean and accommodating. Fully stocked kitchen was great and allowed us to do all our cooking at premises. House was spacious for all the guests. The two recently installed AC units helped cool down the house however, on the extremely hot days it did not seem to cool down the house too well. I feel that one more unit would have made a significant improvement. One minor disappointment was the management of Arrowhead Lake Association (no fault of the owner). All the pools shut down for over an hour each day to clean, however they ended up being closed for longer than an hour. When calling the association they were very rude and disrespectful.

We had a lovely time at this property! This was our officially/unofficial honeymoon after our Zoom wedding last year and Val left us a sweet note and a big box of chocolates, which was so lovely! Everything was very clean and comfortable, we enjoyed renting shuffleboard, tennis, and kayak stuff in the neighborhood as well as doing some biking and hiking in the Poconos. We had everything we needed and would not hesitate to stay here again!

This property is very well maintained and clean. We enjoyed a long weekend with friends and found the space to be perfect for our needs. The neighborhood is very quiet and easy for walking and biking.

This was a great house in a great area. There is no A/C which was a bit of a pain because we stayed during a heat wave but that's no fault for f the owner. The house was great, very clean, and well organized but the mattresses were really bad. The worst bed I've ever slept on. All the beds were extremely uncomfortable.

This home had all we needed and more for our girl getaway! There was plenty of room for the seven of us for watching movies, playing games, and exploring behind the home in the woods in the snow. Perfect four days, I’d love to rent again.

The hosts of this home go above and beyond to provide a welcoming, beautiful and very clean home. We were blown away when we drove up and saw the house decorated outside and in for the holiday. The outdoor Christmas light display, fresh evergreen floral arrangement and complimentary chocolate were a few of the things we loved at first glance. The furniture is comfortable, we were so cozy in the living space, playing games and reading. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with spices seasonings, cooking essentials, and top of the line appliances. The space was more than enough for our 2 families of 4. The back yard was so beautiful. As described, the woods go on forever. We saw at least a dozen deer in the neighborhood, and the deer tracks after a good snow showed us they were running all through the back yard. It’s a beautiful winter wonderland in the snow. And the wood burning fireplace warmed us up after our hiking and sledding adventures. I can’t say enough good things about this rental. The games and toys will cover all ages from toddler on. The beds and bedding are comfortable and clean. The enormous jetted tub was like a small pool for our 2 girls when they went in. And I never worried about the cleanliness of anything. Thank you for all the attention to details that made us feel the comforts of home. One last major plus is the mineralized water. It tasted better than the bottled water we brought. A huge convenience to us, we drink a lot of water and it’s hard to know the quality when traveling to a new place. We loved the 3 season room on NYE when the kids were sleeping. We had a little separation from them, and the electric fireplace was more than enough heat for us in that room. Thank you to Val for your prompt responses to us with questions. We had a wonderful family weekend with our daughter and her family at this beautiful home. Check in was easy and the house was spotlessly clean as described, and very comfortable for the six of us which included 4 adults and 2 children. The house was spacious with room for the grandkids to roam and very bright with many windows opening to the back woodsy area which was beautiful at this time of year. We enjoyed the large deck during the day and firepit area in the evening. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare and enjoy our meals. Thank you for the well stocked Keurig pods! Val responded immediately to questions that came up before we got there and once we arrived which was so helpful! We were looking for a quiet, relaxed family weekend and this home provided the perfect spot. I would highly recommend this home for a peaceful, carefree get away!

Large open space with plenty of room and kept very clean. Beautiful grounds near lake arrowhead. Perfect for fall weather the large windows make it lovely to sit back and enjoy the changes in color of the trees. It also has a nice fireplace to keep you cozy and warm. The house has plenty of bedrooms and two bathrooms to make it easy to get ready with your group.
