The place was perfect for our stay in Ballard. The place had everything we needed and more. The owners were very helpful and super friendly. The garden around the house was lovely and the roses were even in bloom. Its truly a gem.

We needed a house to be able to make both a holiday and birthday dinners with guests. Shopped our ingredients at the sumptuous farmers market then spent the day creating our feast for Easter. The neighborhood was all a bloom with colorful trees even though it rained every day. It will be a special memory for all who shared it with us.

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. It had every amenity that we could need. It was very quiet and well-situated for walking to wonderful shops and restaurants in Ballard. It honestly felt like home by the time we left. We will definitely stay here if/when we return to the area.

So glad I found this property! Less than a 10minute walk to my son’s condo, straight shot to Starbucks on Market st., incredible shower with tons of hot water to warm the blood during a Seattle winter day, and a nice, comfy bed. The only suggestion would be to include instructions to lock the door when leaving. Maybe it’s just me, but it was not obvious until the host gave me instructions over the phone. Thank you for the quick response and remedy when I called.

This property and its kind hosts were exactly what we needed for a 30-day stay. The home is expertly equipped with nice quality cookware and linens. It is very spacious, including more-than-adequate closet space. Gorgeous gardens, outdoor furniture, and the walkable neighborhood let us park the car for days at a time. Mary and Bob were available and responsive. 10/10! Thank you Mary and Bob.

We were delighted to discover this beautifully redone house in a very walkable part of Ballard, especially since our daughter and granddaughter live only 5 minutes away. The quality of the house was exceptional, beautiful kitchen, easy entry through the well-lit back yard using a door keypad, numerous windows throughout and so much natural light! The bedroom had a spacious closet, plus a dining room and separate living room that allowed many options for comfortable seating and eating. The front and side yard were enclosed by a white picket fence, and we were able to enjoy the massive flower garden, watch hummingbirds at the feeder on the front porch and a variety of birds happy to munch at the feeder. Convenient to walk to a QFC, Bartell’s Drugs, and only four blocks to downtown Ballard with shops and numerous places to eat. This incredible property will be our go-to choice whenever it is available for our future trips to Seattle! Mary and Bob were delightful and we visited with them in person a couple of times when they stopped by to work in their garden. Bonus: a private parking spot in the driveway was definitely a big plus!
