Location is perfect...everything you need including the park , car park and a rare supermarket close by...3. min walk. The main historic centre is just 10-15 min walk- far enough to give you quiet evening/ nights. And great reception staff. Lovely . And a really good bed

Tyvärr informerade inte personalen oss om att hundar fick bo på hotellet. Sista natten placerades två olika hundar på vardera sidan om vårt rum. Deras ägare var ute ett par timmar runt midnatt och hundarna både skällde och ylade. Trots vårt påpekande gjorde inte personalen något åt det. Inte särskilt djurvänligt. Handdukar saknades på rummet när vi checkat in. Efter ett tag hittade vi ett förråd så att vi kunde förse oss.

Great central location and yet very quiet. Spacious rooms with lovely traditional decor. Highly recommend for a short visit to Bruges.

Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Het hotel is gevestigd in een prachtig pand. Ontbijtservice is erg uitgebreid en onze kamer was heel apart en authentiek. Gelegen op 100 meter van een parkeergarage.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and well-appointed. The hotel is close to all the city centre so everything is in walking distance. The building has been refurbished and retains a kind of romantic faded charm.

Parking is possible but a complete pain - some distance away and on the second floor of a garage which requires very careful negotiation of a car-lift to attain. Alas I scraped our car on a car-park pillar which will cost a lot to repair so it’s advisable to visit Bruges by train or make other parking arrangements. Also, the hotel does not really do much in the way of food (you can pre-book breakfast though we didn’t). It doesn’t much matter as there are so many places nearby but it’s worth bearing in mind.

locatie hotel midden in het centrum. Goed bereikbaar, parking vlakbij. Leuk hotel in oud gebouw. Vriendelijk personeel. Over het algemeen alles netjes schoon. De ambiance van hotel is natuurlijk oud, maar dat is wel leuk. Verder goed ontbijt in prachtige eetzaal.

De kamer waarin wij verbleven, was schoon, maar wel erg oud wat betreft inrichting. Badkamer was ook wat achterhaald en schimmel op plafond. Hotel geeft op site aan dat veel kamers opnieuw ingericht zijn, dat was die van ons helaas niet. Het heeft zijn charme, zo'n oude ambiance, maar dit was wel echt oud en wat versleten.

A lovely location very close to the center. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Lovely to be able to travel with my dog without any problems. The options to check in online beforehand are useful, but I was still asked for all the same information on arrival so not much point.

I booked the hotel parking, but the street parking outside would have been much cheaper and much less hassle. There is actually a parking garage just around the corner. I was lead to believe that the hotel parking was the closest option. It is actually only one space in a private garage so this is not a serious option for people. I asked if I could change to just park outside and was told I would have to pay for the garage too. I was really looking forward to the cooked breakfast, but it was over cooked scrambled eggs, watery mushrooms and dried out bacon. The waffles were awful. Fresh ones are fantastic so it is a shame. The pastries were good. I would recommend getting a fresh breakfast around the corner along with a proper coffee.

Loved the heritage building ...the management was so very helpful and made my stay so enjoyable. The hotel is very close to the centre but in a quiet street. Highly recommend this property.

Staff need to be more attentive

The location was perfect, close to the center in a cozy area. The room was beautiful with nice decorations.

It was a bit too crowded in the breakfast room. However, the staff working in the kitchen was very sweet. Personally, I don't like that we had to leave the key in the reception every time we left the building. It felt a bit unsafe.

Front desk staff un friendly . She could have been more helpful, especially giving better info with car parking space both public n private. We used the private space one day n had to change the second day due to uncomfortable parking space. Hotel charged for 2 days of parking space n didn’t refund the money for the day didn’t use saying it was reserved for us. This was unfair for 2 reasons- no proper info on parking space n space small n we had to struggle to park car without scratch

the location was good, very central. the spa was nice, but need to know that you have to book a spa slot in advance.

it was already dirty when we arrived in the room (stains on the coffee counter). Unfortunately the room was only fully cleaned once during our 5 days stay (the other days we only got new towels but bathroom and floors didn’t get cleaned). Upon request the staff told us that it is hard to know when we‘re not there as we were sometimes leaving at different times and because the weather was very bad (rain and cold) we liked to stay in the room more than usual. Nevertheless even upon request only the towels got changed and the floor cleaned lightly however the bathroom remained uncleaned and the bed sheets were dirty. Overall I had higher expectations for this price and advertisement of the place. Thus, would not recommend this stay for more than one or two nights.
