Perfect location, kind attitude from everyone on the staff, immaculately clean, amazing food and a really comfy bed!

Great location and absolutely fabulous breakfast.

Room was a bit noisy and housekeeping wasn’t up to scratch.

The hotel is bright and colourful with large, light rooms that are very well fitted out with all facilities. The windows can be opened to let in fresh air and are double glazed to keep out noise if needed. The hotel is right in the centre of Bergen on the edge of the main shopping area and there are many restaurants close by.

There is little to complain about - the breakfast area could have been a little larger.

Spacious quiet room (I think we may have gotten upgraded), there is a small but well equipped gym, EXCEPTIONAL breakfast, location right in the center, umbrellas at the reception :-)

Not much ... They could have added hair conditioner in the bathroom and more decaf options for coffee and tea in the room

- hotel location is the best. walking distance from Bergen train station, fish market, tourist info center & tour bus stops - rooftop view for breakfast; breakfast had a good spread; staff were very attentive, always checking on the guests while eating - lobby had coffee & tea 24/7 - hotel room: had tv, blow dryer, iron & ironing board, kettle & ref. they had tea bags & coffee sachets too. we did not have our room cleaned daily but always get fresh set of towels daily hang on our door. - staff: very polite & helpful

- the building across our room has on-going construction which started 8am to 830pm. good thing we were out most of the day

just steps to Bryggen. close to rail, tram. excellent breakfast. comfortable beds. nice shower facility.

housekeeping: staff rude when asked for clean towel after dirty towel removed but not replaced, floor not cleaned, empty tissue box not replaced. very noisy interior room as nearby restaurant regularly emptied barrels of bottles into a courtyard bin.

We had a family room which was the perfect size and came with a balcony with views. Fabulous breakfast as well and right in the heart of the city, close to everything!!!

Breakfast was satisfactory but did not have the variety Thon Cecil in Oslo provides. On the plus side, your hotel provides a suitcase rack which is a really valuable asset. Great location, easily accessible by tram and staff friendly and helpful.

At the time of booking the room I thought I had booked directly with your hotel. Upon arrival I was informed that I had actually booked through Booking.com and therefore was not entitled to any loyalty points. I am not even sure that I didn't pay more for the room because of Booking.com. I will be more careful next time and I would prefer to deal directly with the hotel. Your hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Conveniently central but quiet because of triple glazed windows. Loved the bright coloured corridor carpets. The breakfast was terrific.

Great location and very nice hotel. Our room was large and well appointed. It was modern, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed having the small refrigerator. The bathroom was large with a nice walk in shower and a large well lit vanity area. Breakfast was very good and every staff member was friendly and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Excellent breakfast. Great location for walking around Bergen. Great room. Good light in bathroom, shower had a door, place for luggage & space to hang clothes, refrigerator, comfy bed and pillow plus a desk & 2 chairs made our three night stay very comfortable. Many of these features were not available in other places we stayed on our drive in the Norwegian countryside. Worried a little about parking since not available on site, but it was no problem. Staff had us park just two blocks away at City Park and register at hotel kiosk which gave us a nice discount. Be aware when checking out at the garage the instructions are only in Norwegian (no English) but we checked the website in advance and had no problem.

Beautiful property, super comfortable bed, helpful staff and I found the location perfect with an easy walk to train/bus and also to harbour. Staff were extremely helpful to store luggage and being able to even make a coffee after checking out is just brilliant.
