The breakfast was good; dinner (for the weekdays we were there) was complimentary which was great.

Rarely on our travels we met a breakfast you could eat a whole week of. Literally everything you could wish for was there. Several kinds of egg, all of excellent level, accompanied by the best bacon/sausage. Huge variety of meat/cheese/fish. Hot and cold vegetables. Glutenfree options. Fruit in many ways (sliced, smoothie, juice). There were even lemon and ginger shots. It's all a lot, but it was still sorted out very delicate. The room itself had a fantastic shower and a beautiful view towards the train station with the fjord behind it. The staff was very friendly.

The hotel is located in a restored old building. Rooms and bathroom are very small. I personally disliked decoration of the hotel in particular, reception and lobby. I did not feel comfortable in such ambient

Your receptionist Òse was exceptional... friendly, welcoming, informative, very pleasant. Good old-fashioned hospitality. Bteakfast was very good. A wide range of great food available smorgasbord style. Delicious.

Noisy and loud at night. While it is a great location during the day; at night it turns into hell for those who are not in the bar scene. At 3am my husband went out to look around and said the sound, revelry, yelling coming from every direction. Difficult to sleep thru it. Also the staff were the least friendly of all our Norway stays.
