Perfect location to break up a long journey as it’s just off the m6.
The entrance area was lovely and welcoming and as we were meeting someone,it was great that there was lots of seating area to relax in with large screen TV.
The food was good and service prompt.
The restaurant staff were very pleasant and helpful.
I always object to payment for parking. You have a huge car park so why be so mean?
Our room was adequate with a comfy king bed but it was small and the bathroom tiny!
5.0
The location is great, very easy to access and close to the town and highway. Lots of choices for breakfast and they are fresh and delicious.
The rooms we had were old and outdated, not the same as we saw in the booking. The staff said they don't have enough rooms for us and we had to walk very far to the back of the buildings.

My room was so cold, there is no heating at the hotel and has not been any for sometime, they put in a family room which was really big, the offered me a plug in heater at 4pm which I wanted but is not delivered until 8.30pm in evening, it was very small and did not do anything to heat the room, the TV would not turn off so I had to leave it on all night and just reduce the sound, i went to dry my hair in the morning and no plug sockets by any of the mirrors
The hotel was clean, staff were good and the breakfast was good.

It was local to where I needed to go for work.
Mould on ceiling in room. Cold, damp, no heating in room other than a portable heater in the cupboard. Wasn’t enough to head the room. Had to sleep with two duvets and was still cold.

The location is good distance to Warwick’s attractions. We like walking so 30-45 min on foot to town was pleasant.
Bad smell of dampness.
Not working fridge.
No slippers.
This is not 4* hotel.

Breakfast was good, plenty of choice
Room too hot, fan didn’t make any difference
Very expensive drinks, £2.50 for a dash, yes about a tablespoon of lemonade £2.50!!! So £9.50 for 125 ml of wine and a dash of lemonade😡😡😡
9.0
Breakfast was good, great value, close to Warwick castle
One room was on the older part of the hotel and was a bit dated and the air con wasn't as good, although it didn't cause any bother

Great breakfast spread. So much choice. Similarly with dinner menu.
My friends first time with your company and they were really impressed
Good bed linens and towels. Staff friendly, well presented and helpful in all sections.
High standard of cleanliness.
Lounge chairs are really low and awkward. Not comfortable.
On the dinner menu, I chose vegetables with teriyaki but it was pretty awful. It looked unappetising and the soggy vegetables were drowning in the highly flavoured sauce. Perhaps rethink it?

Emplacement
Propreté et vétusté vu le prix de la chambre !
On se croirait dans les années 70/80 avec un chambre non rénovée, des moquettes hors d’âge, une robinetterie en fin de vie…

Nothing

One person at check-in (3 at check-out but Card machine not working so no way to check the bill and it was emailled 6 hrs later) £209 for one night - crazy
No staff at check-in and high costs

Lovely bar and restaurant area
Room very run down
Rooms not clean missing bits from the roof panels
We asked for twin room and got a double
Paid for parking at reception and still got a parking ticket

Staff and communal areas excellent
Rooms and bathrooms look and feel very tired

The beds were absolutely fine, we were staying in the rooms that haven’t been updated so no walk-in shower or mini chiller but it was clean and welcoming.
The buffet breakfast was excellent plenty of choices
We had problems with our room keys both days so had to return to the front desk.
I know it’s not uncommon to pay for parking but I think it should be included in the price

Everything was good apart from the shower. The complaint was dealt with politely and to our satisfaction.
Shower was scalding hot with no means of cooling

No outside sitting area for non smokers

Room was lovely and clean, facilities were good. Nicely fitted out with furnishings, nice and modern.
The View Was bushes and industrial buildings, and at the far end of the hotel, hence had a long walk to get there, not great when you have a few bags. Had evening meal in restaurant, service was very slow, not enough staff, food was good.

Rooms were nice
No air con as advertised. It only released warm air. I reported the tv to be broken and was told someone would come to fix it but never did.
I was told the next morning some rooms have issues with AC so it is no longer provided, it is still listed as a room feature. Rooms are also experiencing issues with TV’s which they know about but do not tell guests. Very uncomfortable stay and disappointed I was not compensated.

The room was a good size, comfy bed, didn’t feel cramped in there. Ate in the restaurant which was lovely and the staff were really friendly and polite. Not used to staying in such a lovely place which allows dogs! Thank you 🙂
The air con didn’t work in either of our rooms but luckily I managed to keep it cool enough for my dog and we weren’t inside too much.

Very quiet for sleeping in our room.
Normal English breakfast was good.
We informed them that my wife has a serious dairy allergy but they had made no effort to source suitable bread except for gluten free which is horrible. They had no idea whether any other bread contained milk or not, but there is actually plenty available if they had tried.
Could not get hot water out of the shower.
On arrival we asked for the sofa bed to be made up but it never happened !
Quite annoying to have to pay extra for parking.

Excellent, on the first morning we stayed we had to be away first thing, so the very helpful lady running the breakfast service gave us a brown carry out bag and the assisted our young 8 year old daughter to get some pastries and spread, was very stressful morning for us made so much better by the attention given by your great team. Following day sat down for our breakfast in easily the most relaxed eating environment of any hotel we have ever stayed in, breakfast exceeded expectations well cooked great presentation and wide variety of choice for all.
Can’t think of anything.

The location is great and easy to get too. The staff are very friendly and the reception/bar area is very modern. Saw they have gym facilities but didn't use these personally. Although it did have a range of machines and weights. The size of the room was great for a family room, double bed and a double pull out sofa bed. The bathroom had good lighting in it too.
Despite some flaws, I would stay here again.
We stayed in room 239. The size of the room was great, but in what I would say is the out dated part of the hotel. As walking to the room you get a positive feeling the colour of walls, doors and carpet are fresh and relaxing. You turn the corner and then all of those nice feelings go away, and you have an 80s/90s hotel throw back feel. The doors are a dated wooden colour and the carpet isn't as fresh as the modern part of the hotel.
The bed for me wasn't comfy nor were the pillows but I prefer the menory foam style for both mattress and pillows. So most likely personal preference.
The wardrobe and drawers had dust collected in them so didnt use due to dust allergies. The carpet by the main bed seemed to be moth eaten and we had a few moths in the room. Also the air con was very cold and even when turning it off it came back on by itself after 10 mins.
The hotel did provide a small electric heater but we didnt use this.
I just hope the hotel gets round to updating the last few rooms to the same standard as the others, as will make a huge difference.

Breakfast was excellent plenty to choose from.
We had to pay to park ,people who stay in the hotel should be free and it wasn't cheap
10.0
All good ,great meal ,breakfast and nice atmosphere in the bar ,room very comfortable and bed excellent .
The bathroom was rather shabby although clean , the shower area had scruffy obvious repairs to the wall, would have expected better but it was obvious this was a room which hadnt been upgraded to the latest look .
6.0
The room was nice and clean and ready on arrival. The staff were lovely. We really enjoyed eating in the bar in the evening and the breakfast was good - plenty of choices.
We were in a family room in the old part of the hotel, the room was dated and the bathroom had a shower in the old bath which almost flooded the bathroom. The room was not the same as the modern one depicted on the website, which was disappointing. I don't feel that an additional fee for parking was appropriate.

Great welcome by the reception team,... the room was clean and well presented..
The bar and restaurant staff were really friendly and professional, food was great and found the prices reasonable..we were visiting the British Motor Museum which was a 15 min drive away.. all in all a great experience..

Big comfortable bed. Clean and modern room and bathroom. Bar open till late. Good breakfast options
24 hour room service advertised in rooms. When called at 11pm they answered but said they had closed.
4.0
The location and nice lobby
The fact you have to pay parking, the insane prices of rooms, the fact my bed and shower had long black hairs in? The fact the mirrors had no been cleaned and only the main lights did not work. Very outdated and not worth £90 a night!
8.0
It was comfortable
The black hardware in the bathrooms had limescale build up

Checking in:-we had a long wait just one person on reception and on the phone, never apologised for keeping us waiting.
Room:- light out by toilet area and was quiet dark, asked that evening for this to rectified but did not get sorted and had to report the following day. Asked for extra pillows ( hard as rock).
Room ok but television kept cutting out all time.
Evening meal:- poor especially for price, tasteless, order chicken breast more like a poussin when it arrived. Burger tasteless and expensive.
Breakfast on Friday morning was ok just a few issues, mushrooms were all wisened up and looked if they had not been cooked, one coffee machine not working and coffee from other machine was cool. No breadboard to cut bread on or cloth to hold the bread whilst cutting it. No visibility of staff cleaning tables, had to clear ourselves.
Check in - long wait
Evening meal overpriced and tasteless
Pillows hard as rock

Staff we so friendly and helpful. Gave the kids activity packs when we arrived and also upgraded our room for free. The room was nice and spacious and clean. It was one of the best buffet breakfasts ive ever seen in a hotel too. The choice and quality of the food was impressive. The hygiene practices were very high and they seperated the meats from the vegetarian food which I liked. Hotel is in a good location to get to various places such as Stratford Upon Avon and Leamington Spa.
The hotel restaurant was a little over priced and the food was just average.

Standard room was small so we upgraded for £20 the room and bed was quite a bit bigger .
Open plan bar area

Initially offered an un refurbished room with stained bathtub, rust around plughole, light bulbs not working, and bathroom basin with different faucets (tap heads).
Following complaint transferred to re furbished room - much better. Question is why wasn't this offered in the first instance?
I have booked this Hotel on previous occasions through Booking.com and never once received a refurbished room. Does Marriott consider Booking.com clients as preferring a 'Poverty Spec' room? This needs sorting out. The un refurbished rooms are now a disgrace!!
Breakfast good quality and value
See above, plus parking at £7 per night is an outrage. This hotel is accessed mostly by drivers on the M40 and A46 and last years rate at £5 was just tolerable. This needs to be re thought as the motorist is being unfairly targeted and from what I can see the car park is the same as last year but now the barriers have been removed. Here's an idea what about just £7 per car per stay - that's fair.

Wifi was weak. Bed squeaky. No phone to call front desk. Adapter didn’t fit in electrical plug. Shower tap got stuck on and had to bring maintenance.

Very clean, comfortable, very helpful stuff and delicious food/ excellent breakfast!
our room was next to the fire exit door and that door was still used throughout the night by the staff/other hotel guests. As it is very heavy it would shut with a noise waking us up at night.
