Location. - just up the hill from centre of carvoiero. Quiet at night in May.

Had a really great two week holiday have been to the Morichoro many times before and as usual we were really looked after and made to feel special The staff as usual were amazing especially reception ❤️ and bar staff who made us feel part of the family Fully recommend as amazing location and brilliant experience 😀

Pool area and lounge were excellent. The breakfast was very good. The location was terrific.
Decor and furnishings were dated, the hair dryer was awful, the toilets ran. There were minor maintenance issues, but I’m more tolerant of these issues as hotels recover from the Covid crisis.

The staff are exceptional, helpful and friendly from hotel manager, customer relations, reception through to breakfast staff, oh and the night porter was also fantastic. The location was perfect, everything was spotlessly clean. Car park was secure and easily accessible. The shower in our room was the best I have used, so powerful and lovely and hot. Lovely balcony with sea view. Thank you to everyone at the Mirachoro Carvoeiro, we cannot wait to return.
The only negative, and I do not like to say this but...our room was located near the lift area and we could hear the lift motor (sorry)

The breakfast and the location is really fantastic. Also the swimming pool and the bar food are very good. Except the room, could be much bigger, and could be more silent as a little noisy during the day time.

Nice hotel just outside the touristic area of Carvoeiro but in walking distance of shops, beach and restaurants. Lovely swimming pool to relax. Nice staff and a breakfast with many options.
The rooms were not renovated in a long time, especially the bathroom was a bit outdated.

Really very decevabt for a 4 star!!! 230 euros per night, and no small bottle of water in the room, breakfast very poor quality for a 4-star hotel: fruit juice in not natural 😦 machine ... Canned fruit, not natural.... Coffee very bad, já Good bad quality...... And impossible to have breakfast before 8:00am ... 😦

Breakfast was good and varied.
The place was exceptionally clean.
Bed was comfortable.
The resort facilities such as the swimming pool etc. was excellent.
The location was excellent, and every single member of staff we interacted with was exceedingly helpful.
There were some options for British style food such as baked beans if your kids are fussy, but also plenty of continental options, excellent fresh croissants, cheeses etc.
The coffee was horrible at breakfast.
The facilities were a little dated, irons only on request, not that many plug sockets in the rooms, the shower was not that good, one of the doors was a bit stuck.

only reason why this is not a 10/10 is the wifi did not work anywhere in the hotel. for travellers this could be a downside due to expensive data usage bc we couldn’t book anything off of wifi. but otherwise a great stay
note: would be a fantastic hotel if they fixed the wifi situation:)
