Dinner was extra but worth it. Dessert disappointing after high flavour and super ingredients in starter and main.

The welcome was lovely, the room was fabulous, warm, lots of lovely touches and spacious. Set out in a chalet style, with a bathroom next to thee entrance, the bath was comfy and the shower hot a powerful. Comfy and clean I had a great night sleep, considering it is just off a busy road I heard no traffic. The team did me breakfast to go which was fabulous, and there were lots of options cooked and continental. I will go back and I will recommend.

Nothing everything was perfect

Friendly welcoming member of staff, met with a smile and given clear directions to the room. Both of the rooms I booked were lovely, roomy, clean and nicely decorated with good furniture, lighting and space. Food in the restaurant was hot, well prepared and tasty, with good quality ingredients, extremely reasonable for a family of 5 and drinks too were not overpriced.

Unlike the quality of the rooms, the hospitality/refreshments tray could be vastly improved. No water offered, limited tea and coffee (the coffee and sugar had obviously got damp as it was lumpy when opened), and whilst in the restaurant for breakfast there offered Twinings, in the rooms seemed to be a cheaper make. There is hand liquid soap and hand cream in the bathrooms, with shower gel also in a dispenser but no other offerings and whilst this was not a problem for us, it might be for the overnight traveller.

Excellent service and quality of food and prompt service in beautiful surroundings.The room was spacious warm and comfortable.This is the second visit now and just great.

Service was excellent and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Evening dinner was great and very good value and breakfast had everything you could want.

Pillow was lumpy so could do with new pillows but otherwise the room.was great, comfortable, perfectly clean and cosy
