Great location that is convenient to everything in the Franklin area. Easy walk downtown. Property was clean and well kept. We had a great stay!

Extremely quiet and peaceful. Whether you go out or eat in with its provided kitchen, you just may get a delightful dish from the proprietor!

The location is in the center of a very quaint special town and the property is a guest house behind a typical old time Southern majestic style home.
All in all, our experience was comfortable and enjoyable. The pictures pretty much matched the advertisement. I would like to suggest, however, that there were areas that were not as clean as I would have expected from the pictures, including their sitting porch outside. The kitchen was lacking in its amenities. For one example, there was only one fry pan that was warped and every morning that we used it, we had to hold it a certain way otherwise the food would roll to one side. There was no dishwasher or disposal. There were also opened mouse trap boxes around the bathroom vanity that had not been removed.
We did appreciate a nice stack washer and dryer.

It’s true that you could walk to downtown but it is not a short walk about 30 minutes. But that is minor compared to what a lovely quiet place it was to stay.

Mark & Damon were very gracious and helpful and even took my little dog for a walk while I was out one day. Thank you for the hospitality!

This was a wonderful experience. The bed was comfortable. There is two houses on this location. We stayed in the studio Captain Quarters. The surrounding property was beautiful and well maintained. We had the pleasure of meeting Mark, the property owner, he was very accommodating. We will return and we hope it is soon

Very nice well appointed Cottage in great neighborhood. Even though we didn’t bring our pet, the place was so clean that we couldn’t tell that any pets had been there. Definitely will be back when we can spend more time exploring the area.

We spent 3 nights there to attend a music festival. It's on a great street 10-15 minute easy walk to downtown area. If you go the other way, there is a large city park, ball fields, tennis courts etc just a few blocks away. The space was very comfortable. You don't often get king size beds at short stay rentals, so that was nice. It had everything we needed. Communication with host was great. Parking right in front of your door. Clean. I would stay there again.

The perfect little get away. The property is beautiful and the property owners are amazing people. If we find ourselves back in the area, this is where we want to stay.

Clean and comfortable. GREAT neighborhood. Super close to Franklin and easy drive into Nashville. Wonderful time walking the dogs around the neighborhood when we weren’t having fun elsewhere. Will return for sure.

Captains Quarters is an ideal spot as a home base to explore Franklin. Not only was the place unique, but Damon and Mark were so friendly. My puppies thoroughly enjoyed the yard and numerous sidewalks for walks. Would highly recommend this place to my friends!

We had a pleasant stay, wish it was longer.

What a fantastic property. Mark and Damon were very welcoming and wonderful. We had our dog with us and their yard was perfect for us. The captain’s quarters were very well appointed and had everything we needed.

Stayed for a family visit in Franklin for a long weekend. All amenities on point. Even a delicious welcoming treat ( unexpected) & bottled water. Pet friendly & clean -well equipped kitchen & bathroom.

Comfortable house with a spacious yard to spread out in. Easy walk into town on residential streets filled with beautiful old and historic homes. And most importantly wonderful and caring hosts.

I had been staying at different hotels the last few years to attend the Pilgrimage festival but thought I’d ‘mix it up’ this year and try a house……soooo glad I did!! That place is perfect. EVERYTHING you need and it is absolutely beautiful and incredibly comfortable. The owners are so kind. Hope to be back!

Absolutely charming and comfortable. Very nice neighborhood. There is nothing I would change about this property or the way the hosts had it ready when I arrived. I will stay there again when I visit Franklin.

We enjoyed our stay in the cottage. It was within walking distance of downtown Franklin, a park and a great fresh produce store. We really enjoyed being able to park our car and walk to many destinations. Also enjoyed all the extra things the host placed in the cottage, especially the baked banana bread. Damon was so prompt and helpful with responding to any questions we had.

Our stay in Franklin was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. The Captains quarters was lovely and so welcoming. Damon made sure We had everything we needed and the quiet and private place to be refreshed. I loved the peaceful sitting area under the large trees. The banana bread was a delicious treat.
