A little far from main attractions

-ginger tea - is just sliced ginger, not shredded, you can’t taste really strong taste and flavors. asked many times for shredded, but got only sliced
-smell in room, like very old my all things and clothes smelling like this after the trip, need to wash everything
- don’t have russian/ukrainian food (Slavic cuisine) in the breakfast, like: Russian pancakes, syrniki, scoundrels, borodinsky bread sourdough, Vatrushka, salo, pelmeni
-not salt for bath

Tolle Poolanlage, sehr aufmerksamer Service und große Zimmer
Die Anlage ist schon etwas älter, aber trotzdem sehr schön. Preise in den Restaurants typisch für 5*-Hotels

בריכות גדולות, חוף ים פרטי השייך לחוף
כל דבר במלון עולה כסף אפילו כניסה לסאונה עולה כסף, לא ניתן לעשן במלון בכלל. הבריכות היו מלוכלכות רמת ניקיון מאוד נמוכה , המלון נמצא מרוחק מכל מקום וכל יציאה ממנו מצרכיה מכוניח/מונית. צוות הקבלה לא נחמד ומערים קשיים על בקשות.

Fantastisk beliggenhet. Hotellet er rent og frokost var utmerket. Spesielt bra var zone oppdeling ved frokost og strand i familie zone og voksen zone.
Personalet var hyggelig og imøtekommende.
Rommet var litt fuktig og AC bråkte litt.

Our stay at the Marriott Khao Lak was overall pleasant, highlighted by its ideal location and the genuinely friendly hotel staff. The evening buffets were truly outstanding, offering a delightful variety of great dishes.
The activities, especially for children, like the outdoor cinema, were top-notch, providing fantastic entertainment for the entire family !
However, there were some drawbacks. The large size of the complex meant a considerable amount of walking from one point to another, which could be tiresome. The breakfast area was a major letdown; it was not only noisy but also disturbingly unclean, resembling more a disgustingly dirty cafeteria than a breakfast room in a reputable hotel. Furthermore, the staff at the pool bar were notably rude and unhelpful, which was quite disappointing. The children’s playroom also fell short, being dirty and poorly maintained. These areas critically need improvements to better the overall guest experience...

The breakfast was amazing witha huge choice of food to start the day. Having a selection of different restaurants meant we didn't run out of choices during our stay. The food and service was of a very high standard and the staff were very friendly, helpful and polite.
The water in the pools was too warm.

The property is impressive and well maintained. Very good breakfast assortment. Well designed rooms.
The resort is huge, which means very very long walk between the room and facilities, breakfast, beach, pool etc. I did almost 7 km during the day! Not because I wanted.
Everything takes ages, even simple reservations like coffee they take 35 min to deliver.
Very very noisy. It’s not possible to sit inside the restaurant during breakfast. Terrible acoustics, screaming kids and mothers, huge families.
They decided to locate me in the middle of the kids zone, Although I booked a room for 1 adult person.
Can’t even tell how noisy and uncomfortable it was.
The problem was that on the other side they had an Indian wedding with close events and parties.. So I had to stay in my room, although they promised to find a solution.
The spa was a huge disappointment, the worst massage I had in Thailand. Not only for this round.
I booked 4 nights and run away after 2 although I needed to pay for cancellation.

ריזורט מהמם , חדרים מפנקים מסעדות מעולות הספא מדהים חדר כושר מאובזר ומלא פעיליות . צוות מקסים למרות שהכול היה התפוסה מלאה זה לא הרגיש ככה חוף מהמם .

בחדר היה ריח של עובש קצת ( משהו שהיה נפוץ בתאילנד )
ויש לקחת בחשבון שמחירים במקום הם כיהיה לריזורט אבל אם יוצאים על החוף למסעדות ליד אז זה חוזר למחירים הזולים ומאוד טעים שם

מלון ברמה מאוד גבוהה- חדרים מעוצבים ומרווחים, צוות שירותי ומאוד מאוד אדיב, ארוחת בוקר מעולה- מגוונת, טרייה, מבחר עצום של מאכלים, חוף ים מושלם. נהנינו ממש!
המלון מרוחק ממרכז קאו לאק- 10 דקות נסיעה במונית. מצד שני, לא ממש יש צורך לצאת מהמלון כי באמת יש בו הכל, כולל כפר קטן צמוד עם מסעדות נחמדות ומסאז' על החוף

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr schön und gross. Das Frühstück sehr gut sowie die verfügbaren Restaurants. Perfekt für einen Strandurlaub in Khao Lak. Ich würde das Hotel immer wieder buchen.
Die Räume sind etwas muffig, aber dem kann man in Thailand einfach nicht ausweichen aufgrund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit.

Цена кнеш для такого севиса не завышенна, она того стоит. Но это очень дорого.

Swimming pool
Arriving at 8pm our rooms were not ready. We waited for over an hour. Dinner in the Drift restaurant was very disappointing - we waited an hour and a half for food and 40 minutes for drinks.
Rooms looks not fresh, no mini bar.

Strand. Bestens.
Frühstück sehr gut. Allerdings oft voll. Viele Familien mit Kindern.
Alternative: Restaurant nur für Erwachsene; Räume meist sehr runtergekühlt. Daher besser Sitzplätze draußen.
Die Hotelanlage ist sehr weitläufig. Auch am Strand nie Gedränge.
Außerhalb des Hotels kleinere thailändische Restaurants fußläufig. Alternative zu Halbpension. Empfehlung: "Phen".
Preiswerte Kleiderwäsche.
Leider: Viele arrogante, freche und laute Russen. Oft mit Kindern.
Gilt leider für ganz Thailand. Immer noch massenweise Einreise aus ganz Russland möglich.

-грязные, рванные пляжные полотенца.
-неприятный запах в номерах с выходом в бассейн.
-отсутствие обслуживания лежаков в бассейне у пляжа, целый день стоит грязная посуда, валяются использованные полотенца. Неделями валяются по кустам старые матрасы, нарукавники.
-грязный песок на пляже и в баре на пляже, осколки, окурки и другой мусор в песке.
-грязная мебель( подушки) в пляжном баре.
-отсутствие кофе машины в номерах ( кофе растворимый), при этом в апартаментах кофе машина есть.

В Таиланде бываю частенько. Идеальное место для релакс ртдыха. Пляж разделён на взрослых и детей. Песок и море отличное. Рядом с отелем много кафе и массажа

You have to do something about the birds flying around in the breakfast area, hoping and picking around the food. It´s not healthy. Maybe have the doors shut and get rid of all birds before you puts the food on the counters. It´s definitlely annoying. It´s a bit disturbing with crying children in the adult breakfast area. The music is to loud in the breakfast area
You have a rule that it´s not allowed to reserve sunbeds in the morning. We saw lots of people that reserved sunbeds before having breakfast and showing up hours later. There is no point in having rules when they are not followed

The room was newly renovated, it looked and felt great. There were heaps of space and the block out blinds made our sleep peaceful.
The service was unbelievable, I loved how everyone always greeted my partner and I with a big smile. All the staff remembered us at the restaurants, making the experience very lovely.
We leveraged the free hour of bike hire, the bikes were in good condition. The back streets outside the resort were pleasant to ride around.
Lastly, the 3km of swimming pool was so beautiful! We took advantage and swam for at least an hour everyday.
We had an all inclusive meal package but missed out on some meals because we were sick and couldn't make it to the restaurants. If possible have a couple of simple food options as part of dinner or lunch for room service.

Der Strand ist ein Traum und die Lagune mit dem Adult Pool eine Oase.
Es ist eine Wohltat, dass es eine Trennung zwischen Adult und Family beim Frühstück als auch am Strand gibt; trägt sehr zur Entspannung bei.
Sowohl das italienische als auch das thailändische Restaurant können wir sehr empfehlen.
Um das abendliche Essen in den Restaurants zu genießen, wäre es empfehlenswert, die Trennung in Adult und Family - wie beim Frühstück - vorzunehmen.

Sehr sauber, ständig renoviert ( besser als die meisten Hotels in Thailand), sehr freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet und ausgezeichnete japanische und Thai Restaurant, wunderbarer sauberer Strand, auf dem man kilometerlange Spaziergänge machen kann
Es fehlt eine Umkleidemöglichkeit am Strand
Die Karte für die Happy Hour ist sehr limitiert
