The staff is very friendly and we felt right at home. The room was clean and a nice array of kitchen utensils. The room was perfect for small children since there are no stairs. Would recommend.

It was hard to get food outside in the city, but we were there at low season time.

The owner is super friendly and helpful. She recommended the beaches and restaurants and those turned out to be super! She is also very kind. The apartment had lovely terrace and kitchen. Absolutely lovely place to stay!

This accommodation was the best on our journey through Sardinia. We received a very warm welcome when we arrived, letting us know of all the important places (restaurants, beaches, sites) around the residence and Porto Torres, but in a really consise way so we got all the necessary information, but did not have to listen for a really long time (which was really helpful because we had a really long journey behind us, with a 6-months old baby). The apartment itself was like in the pictures. (We rented the room that has red bedding in the pictures.) The terrace was enormous. The kitchen was well-equipped, which was great, because we cooked ourselves some meals during our stay. All our destinations (2 beaches in and around Porto Torres, Alghero, La Pelosa beach) were easily reachable from the apartment. Parking was perfect, in the garden of the apartments. The free child cot was comfortable for our 6-months old baby. The Aircon worked perfectly and it is located in the perfect place (it does not blow cool air on you when you sleep, which is really important, but it cools down the whole apartment perfectly). But even without aircon, the apartment was quite cool when we arrived.

The only downside was that the shower was a bit small for us, especially when we tried to give our baby a bath.

The 2 women who helped us were lovely, We are on the bicycle and arrived early, the appartment was ready and we were allowed to check in. Lovely chat with Laura about cycling when we checked out. Both ready to answer any questions people had. Really helpful.

The appartment was perfect. Only the distance from the town if you don't have transport is a problem. Its right at the end of Porto Torres. But you can see that on the map on booking.com

They had lots of space to park, including our very large bike and trailer. The woman at reception have us tons of good ideas about our bike tour of Sardinia. Very glad we stayed here!

Il Melo is located in a very calm and relaxing area. The Staff was very sweet and willing to give us some great sightseeing tips in the area of northwest Sardinia. They were also willing to give us some bicycles to ride around town. We would really recommend staying at Il Melo!

We really enjoyed our stay in Il Melo Residence. The owners have been very helpful in giving us a lots of tips where to go in the neighborhood and which hikes to take. Due to minimal bookings, we even received an upgrade of the apartment. The apartment was nice, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Thank you for the nice time in Porto Torres!
