We loved our stay at this house - it was perfect size for 3 couples and 8 kids. Kids loved all the different bedrooms and bunk arrangements and gave the adults lots of options of where to best sleep - beside the kids or the opposite end of the house! The large kitchen living area was great for so many of us and we never felt we were on top of each other. Unfortunately the kitchen lacked a microwave and decent can opener. Sadly the fire wasn't working which was one of the places best features and we were really looking forward to sitting outside in the evenings but I was notified it was broken a few days before our arrival. The yard was perfect for some outside cricket and soccer and the swings were a mega hit. Loved the location right by the estuary with easy walks and swims. We couldn't find any of the kids games/toys that was mentioned in the house write up which was a shame as I didn't bring many games because of this. There were also hardly any power plugs in the rooms and none in bathrooms. But overall this house was a perfect set up and size for this large group. The host was very responsive to all messages and in a timely manner. Thanks very much, we will be back!

The BBQ and the smoker were very dirty Oven had not been cleaned No blind in one room . Had to use a towel Blind chains were broken in two rooms Still had a good time

The layout for a big group was perfect. Never felt crowded and had everything we needed. Would recommend and be keen to come back to this beauty.

Beautiful home. Family getaway for a week to celebrateour dad 70th birthday. Perfect size, and space, enough beds for everyone. There were 30 of us altogether adults and kids all under one roof. But we still took extra bedding (air beds and linens) House is very spacious. 3min walk to beach. Beautiful area. Would recommend for family group getaway. Host was very lovely to communicate with.

Yasmin was very easy to communicate with, thank you. The house is perfect for big groups. Has lots of space for doing different things. Location is perfect - close to the beach, convenience stores, and restaurants. It is also clean and tidy. We enjoyed our weekend there.

It was perfect for our 52nd Wedding Anniversary celebration with all our family (5 children and partners, and 11 grandchildren). Great “super bach” which was superbly equipped for cooking, sleeping and enjoying our family, and great access to the very safe beach. It is the second time we have stayed there and we recommend it without reservation. We hope to return in 2 years time.

We have used this superb property twice now over the Christmas period. It's absolutely perfect in so many ways. We are a family of 20, ranging from 1 to 86. Bedrooms with air con, ample bathrooms, fabulous outdoor area, location and parking, good kitchen - although lacking some basic utensils and microwave. Highly recommend this property.

Collie's house is a great place for getting together with family or friends. Plenty space to relax and comfortable rooms and beds. Location is good and close to shops, restaurants and golf course.

A really good location with plenty of space for various activities. The covered outdoor space was very useful. The fold out bed was not as comfortable as the other beds. We were surprised there was no microwave in the kiychen.

We had the best work trip with lots of space for collaboration and plenty of rooms for everyone.

We are a management team from an Auckland based NGO and we were doing Team Building work at a location near this property. It was such an amazing place to come back to at the end of the day. A lovely retreat where we could relax and connect. Highly recommended property.

Some of the things missing was a microwave, a lack of toilet paper ( 3x rolls only available for 21 people)Firewood needed restocking BBQ was very dirty had to be cleaned prior to use, there was nowhere to put soap shampoo in showers except in floor. Apart from these small thing which could be easily rectified this was a very functional space for a large number of people.

Tha place was very nice, we enjoyed our stay not only us adults but also the kids.

This was the perfect house to enjoy all being together - lovely open plan, well stocked kitchen, large outdoor areas, and plenty of bedrooms. We all had a magical weekend - thank you so much !

Very modern and spacious. the outdoor area is the ideal hang out place, even if the weather isn't great. Great location, nearby the beach and the shops. We'll definitely return.
