What a wonderful spot to get away, ski, and sit in the hot springs. This is a great spot.!

We enjoyed our stay at the lofts. Plenty of room for all eight of us and was very comfortable. Look forward to staying here again.

We stayed for 3 nights and cooked many of our meals at this property. It's located within walking distance (short walk) to the hot springs and downtown area of Pagosa springs. There were 5 of us and everyone had their own bed.

Will sleep 10- 2 staircases to climb- window units in 3 rooms- alley entrance- quiet & clean property - manager was quick to reply to questions- great property across the street from the hot springs and right in the middle of downtown!

Need to let renter that it is not handicap ready. Having to climb stairs should be noted. It could of been cleaner. The top bedding in one of the rooms was stained or not clean.

Great location for exploring Pagosa Springs. The property was large and spacious. They have a washer and dryer, along with an upgraded kitchen and bathroom with all accessories available. Plenty of natural light, and room to move around. Will definitely stay here next time. Would recommend the listing utilize professional photos, as the photos posted on the website do not do justice to how nice the property is. Thanks once again!

We have always loved The Loft! Great accommodations and location…25 steps to hot springs!

Location was perfect and so were the accommodations. Our two families fit easily in the home. Jacque (owner/manger) responded quickly to any questions we had and was very helpful. We would stay here again!

Well to start with, the property doesn't have a heater. They have a geothermal heat source that they can't control. Aka no thermostat, no control over the temp. Pretty freaking rough when you go to Pagosa to ski and it is getting down to 0-5 degrees at night. They have these four tiny space heaters to heat the place and make it smell like something is burning. The floors aren't level in the living room so be prepared to walk funny. Oh, and the place smells like your great aunt's attic that hasn't be opened in 10 years and there was a leak around year 6. We were literally nauseous from the smell. We had booked the place for 3 nights and left after one because it was so bad. I have never ever left a property because I couldn't stand to stay there. We've emailed VRBO 3 times about the property complaint we ended up filing and haven't heard a thing back.

Great location, easy check in and out process.

The place is well designed for family members to have their privacy but also be able to hang together in kitchen/living room. Very clean! Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The washer dryer is a plus! And The Loft is downtown near so many great places to explore. We will definitely stay here again!

This was a perfect stay for our family, plenty of rooms so they didn't keep each other up all night. Plenty of kitchen tools, great location. Very quaint old building. Of course any building this old will have a few cosmetic issues but the owners have made it look very nice. There's something special about staying in a place with so much history. No hassel getting keys and checking out. Highly recommend it.

We loved the location most of all, but the loft was roomy and comfortable. The property manager was kind enough to also offer us complimentary hot springs passes due to some constructoin noise on the property, which we really enjoyed. It was great to be in town, close to the hot springs, and Riff Raff Brewery, and everything was there in the kitchen, all of us got great sleep each night for the powder turns at Wolf Creek. thanks!

Let me state first that this property is very convenient to downtown Pagosa Springs and the Hot Springs. You can walk there. However, the pictures on the website are misleading. While you can see the BUILDING the apartment is in from the Hot Springs pools, you cannot see the actual apartment windows because the apartment is on the back side of that building. The view from the actual apartment is to an alley. If you are wanting a nice view from your rental, this is not the place. Additionally, expect to have an odor in the apartment. I thought it was from a previous pet that may have stayed there, or the washing machine needed cleaning, but the owner suggested that maybe it was coming from the geothermal heating system. The Hot Springs are close by, after all. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and the basic supplies you'll need like foil, coffee, and spices. While the website says there are additional bathrooms in the hallway of the building, be aware that those bathrooms have only toilets and sinks, not showers, and also serve the offices in the building. The only shower and bathtub, while nice, are in the unit's only actual bathroom. There were five separate beds in 4 bedrooms, but only the master bedroom and the far back bedroom were completely private. One would have to walk through at least one other bedroom to get to their room. Depending on who is staying with you, that could be awkward. We didn't turn on the TV, so I don't know how that worked. Overall, I'd say if you are only looking for convenience to downtown in a place that can sleep several people who can wait their turn for the shower, and you don't mind the smell, this would be a good rental. But, if you are wanting a relaxing mountain-lodge type experience where you can curl up with a good book after skiing or hiking, enjoy the view, have private bedrooms, and more than one shower somewhere else would be a better choice.

We did not intend to stay in this vacation rental. But when we were screwed over by another property owner who double booked us, Jacque responded to our online inquiry within the hour and came to our rescue. She was so incredibly accommodating when we were in a crunch and did not take advantage of how desperate we were. The loft is located within crawling distance of the San Juan River. At night, we crossed the street, walked down some rocks, and hopped into the pools of hot spring water that lay right along the river. It was incredible. The bathroom was the most impressive feature of the loft, with a huge walk in shower and massive jacuzzi tub. There were public restrooms available as well in the building, which was a huge plus. I adored the kitchen amenities and the urban feel of the apartment with exposed brick. It was more than we could have ever hoped for, especially in the situation in which we found ourselves. Thank you, Jacque, for saving our weekend!!!

Our stay at the loft was incredible! There was plenty of space for 5 adults and a pair of 1 year old twins. The bedroom situation ended up great, because the kids were able to be in a room that was far away from the living room and TV noise. The kitchen was well equipped and a great place to cook. You also can't beat the location, right downtown! We did have some noise from the movie theater next door, but the movies were over by 10pm so this wasn't an issue when we were going to sleep. The owners were very easy to contact and helpful. I would recommend this rental to anyone! We will definitely try and stay here on our next trip to Pagosa Springs and Wolf Creek.

The Loft in Pagosa Spring, CO is a great little find off of Main Street. The size of the loft gives you lots of space for a larger family or group of people. You are across the street from the Hot Springs and close to Wolf Creek Ski area. If you are an outdoors person there are a lot of things you can do in the area.

Once we discovered the Loft in 2010 we have not considered staying any place else. This trip ski trip makes our fifth stay and it was as good this time as it was the first; which is to say GREAT!! We love the location, especially after discovering Overlook Hot Springs Spa just 27 steps out the front door to the right. With four separate sleeping areas, a large living room and kitchen you are not crowded and you never get the "just another condo feel", but rather a cozy "at home" feeling. Having one bathroom is never a problem for us since we always have an after ski soak at the spa which provides shower facilities. The Kitchen is large and well equipped. This is a huge plus for us since we eat breakfast and dinner there and pack our lunches to take to the slopes. I almost forgot, it has a washer and dryer which helps if needed. It is upstairs, which is not a negative, just a fact. If I had to come up with anything negative to say it would be that sometimes you do get some light noise from the theater next door. It was Wolf Creek's 75th Anniversary on Sat. and for the 3 days we were there it was spring skiing. Mild wind and temp. in the mid 30's, which translated into getting hot. (We even opened the windows at the Loft during the evening until bedtime!) Even though the ski area was 50" below its normal snowfall for the year, all lifts and runs were open. Wolf Creek did a great job of keeping the blue slopes groomed so there were no visible obstacles to worry about. And of course NO LIFT LINES. We plan on being back next year.

We really enjoyed our stay!! The location was excellent. We were able to walk to The Springs, resturants, shops, and Pagosa Outdoors (where we tubed down the river). The Loft was very roomy, clean, and the kitchen was very well stocked. We will be back for sure!!!

This was our family's 6th annual spring break trip to pagosa and the absolute best place we've stayed so far! It's very clean and modern. The fully stocked kitchen was impressive. We popped popcorn and watched movies on the huge flatscreen in the cozy living room after a long day on the mountain. The laundry room was a huge perk; next time I'll pack lighter. Comfy and spacious rooms and the bathroom...WOW! Also, the location is so private yet, walking distance to the area attractions. Loved it! Note: there is a flight of stairs at the only entrance, keep that in mind if you have trouble with stairs.

A great downtown location with great access to the shopping and hot springs!

Location, Location, Location! The Loft is a wonderful place to meet up with family and friends. While our kids and grandkids were at Wolf Creek we walked the town. After dinner, some took the short walk across the street for some needed soaking at the springs. You'll find everything you need for a great stay!

My family and I stayed at the loft this past September. The loft was quiet and comfortable! It was located at the back of the building and away from the front highway traffic noise. The hot springs were amazing and a short walk across the street. Jacque was a great help with suggestions of things to do in Pagosa. We really had the entire place to ourselves since it is an office building and everyone leaves after 5pm We loved the big screen TV and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. We will return! Thanks for everything!

We loved this place, the location, the amenities UNTIL we discovered that the master bedroom is infested with bed bugs. We stayed there on August 6th-12th 2011. I hate leaving a bad review but I don't want anyone to have to go through what I am currently going through with treating my house to ensure we don't get bed bugs in our house. We did not realize that they have bed bugs until we were leaving when we pulled the sheets back and saw reddish brownish streaks. Upon further inspection we found bed bugs. Also on the first night there was a bat in the back bedroom, we called and maintenance promptly arrived but the bat had disappeared. We think it came from the vent so we closed all the vents and didn't see the bat again. The place is nicer than the pictures look, I am just very disappointed that the cleaning crew and management did not already know this.
