The Southend Pier house was fabulous! It was very clean, spacious, designed beautifully, and came fully stocked with items and amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The location could not have been better. It was an easy jaunt to Oceanfront, within close distance to eateries, easy access to the freeway, and had plenty of room for the 7 guests that stayed for this trip. The beds and pillows were among the best we have ever slept on when away from home. Other reviews state that the road noise is loud, but I think it's a matter of opinion, because it did not bother us (we also sleep with white noise on). The communication with property management and the ease of check in and check out made for a seamless transaction. Overall we highly recommend the Southend Pier House if you are considering homes to stay while you are in Virginia Beach.

The house was great! The kids loved the Mr. Rogers themed room! The kitchen was really well stocked. It was easy to cook when we wanted to! Would definitely rent this place again.

Property is very nice, overall clean, would recommend professional cleaning of couch, carpets, dining room chair pads. Steam clean the floors if possible. Need more than 6 chairs at dining room table please. We only had 6 chairs but 9 peopke staying.Sheppard was fabulous! Very easy to communicate with and he answered emails very promptly.Would recommend the property!Thank you!

My friends and I planned a bachelorette trip for my best friend. It was an eventful weekend! We loved every moment of it. It gave a Nancy Meyers feel to it. So much sunlight coming in. It was great. And kitchen and bathroom has everything you need.

This rental was perfect for our beach trip. We needed to travel with our two elderly dogs and prioritized a rental that had the common areas on the first floor. That significantly cut down on the need to carry them up and down stairs. Also, we enjoy the Vibe district so the location was perfect. The surrounding neighborhood has so many great restaurants!The beds were very comfortable and we slept great. We had absolutely no issues. This is one of the best short term rentals we have used! The balcony was fun to use in the evenings for a quiet nightcap and the living room was comfortable for rainy evenings. The kitchen cabinets are clearly labeled so finding dishes and cooking utensils wasn’t difficult. Parking was very easy. Also, the directions for check out were very straightforward and easy compared to some other places. We would definitely recommend this rental, and would 100% return again.

Everything were more than expected, except the bathroom curtains in the second floor…need to be wash. Also it would have been excellent if we had 3 assigned parking because we we’re driving with 3 cars and we have to pay extra for the parking. A parking sticker would be much appreciated.

This house was gorgeous and extremely clean. The beds and couches were very comfortable as well. My children loves the third floor loft and office space. We definitely would recommend staying here.

The bed sheets needed washing upon arrival. One is of the queen beds only had single sheets. The couch in the family room is full of stains and the back porch needed a good washing and sweeping. Did not communicate with the property manager. It would have been nice if he/she called or texted to see how things were going.

This was a great place for all of our family to stay for our daughter’s graduation from ODU. The location was perfect to enjoy the beach and go to graduation. Close to lot’s of restaurants. We really enjoyed Barrel17 and the Atlantic.

Great stay and location. Beautiful home. Only suggestion on the listing under important notes would be to emphasize bringing Kuerig or Nespresso pods for your stay....or have a coffee machine in the unit. Kuerig had a mind of it's own to work, after having to run out in the morning to get pods. Also, there were about 8 remotes for the tv, with no instructions on how to use, or appeared to have no use. Most rentals I have been in have a unit manual on the coffee table. These are not Debbie downers, just suggestions to help. It was a nice place, and well equipped. Enjoyed the stay!

The property was very nice and spacious. I’ve stayed at similar places but this was the nicest compared to others. It was really nice how we were upgraded because the guests trashed the place we originally rented. Very nice.

Wonderful place to stay.
Just a really nice property. Clean, bright, just a couple blocks to the ocean front. Very convenient to I264. Well supplied with tp, paper towels, even coffee and laundry detergent. I would stay here again in a heart beat.
