We liked the fact that there were 2 reception rooms and a garden area.

Property was a bit dated and had a musty smell.

The location is perfect, 5mins drive (or 20mins walk) to Whitstable Harbour, 18mins to Canterbury and about 35mins to White cliffs of Dover. The house is spotlessly clean and tidy. The three bedrooms layout is ideal for us, as two of my friends need private bedrooms for good sleep. there are TVs in both sitting room and dining room. The downstair toilet is very handy, when the upstair one with shower is occupied. Kitchen has a lovely view of the back garden. Plenty of kitchenware provided. There are even salt, sugar, pepper and herbs in the cupboard for use, very considerate. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfy. The main bedroom has a washbasin. The walk in shower in toilet is very convenient, and water pressure is good. Janette the landlady is very patient and helpful. Instructions on key collection is clear. Queries are always answered promptly by text. Will definitely come back soon.

Nothing actually. The slope in driveway is a bit steep for our driver who got his licence only half a year ago😂, so we parked on the road most of the time which is quite convenient actually. but this shouldn’t be a problem for experienced drivers. 😉

The house was comfortable and fully equipped - the Christmas decorations were a nice touch

The driveway was a problem - it is very steep and requires great care on entry and exit. The steps leading to the front door are a hazard being steep and holding rain water, I slipped on the step due to water and loose leaves etc and hurt my left left leg which caused me pain during my visit. The photographs do not show the steepness of the drive and the steps, and there is no warning on the web site or in the paper work. It is a hazard for older people, people with disabilities and those with children

There was fresh milk in the fridge when we arrived together with tea, coffee, and various condiments. Wi-fi was brilliant. Quiet location; through traffic on the road outside was not too disruptive. 10-15 minute walk to lovely Chinese takeaway and to some great fish and chips (freshly cooked).

No fault of the owner, but parking was a bit tricky - and that was only with one car - partly due to being up a slope and partly when neighbour's cars were parked in awkward places.

Everywhere was very clean, and could find most things that you would need for preparing a meal and so on. I also liked the master bedroom with the sink . The bathroom was roomy, and I liked the walk in shower.

I wish we had been a little nearer the front, and a bit nearer some shops. It was a 15-20 min walk away, but not too bad if walking isn’t an issue.

How clean it was, how many extras they left for us. How cute it was very quaint and extremely clean. I have family just up the road so was very convenient for us and would stay again.Very comfortable Thank you Trappers End x

Nothing it was quaint comfortable and clean

Plenty of space, light and airy main bed room, good garden space, reasonably well equipped. You can walk to the main sea front easily in 20 mins and to the nearest bar quicker than that. Lots of shops nearby. Nice off road parking if on a slope, there's also a garage where we stored our bikes. Not a welcome pack as such but a few things there like tea, coffee, stock cubes , herbs, olive oil etc.

It is a bit dated, e.g. brightly patterned carpets etc. but we found it charming. It's up a bit of a hill which some would find annoying or difficult but fine for most people.
