great location, very clean and the room had great amenities. the room was very quiet and had a lovely small terrace with table and chairs to sit outside and drink your morning coffee. Staff were friendly friendly and eager to ensure you had a relaxing stay. Will definitely return.

This boutique hotel was perfectly located in the heart of St. Jean-de-Luz, a thoroughly captivating fishing town. While some distance from the train station, we easily covered the distance on foot. A two minute walk into the town square; even less in the other direction to the beach. November is the perfect time to visit this town. The room was very comfortable. Claudette is a wonderful hostess who made our stay the best.

Loved where the hotel was situated in the heart of town and close to beach. Although we had trouble finding the hotel due to roads closed so where too late to enjoy beach really.

No parking which made it awkward as my partner has a few walking issues at the moment and had to walk quite a way. Realised after tho could have dropped him off but spent a while looking for somewhere to park so grabbed first spot we saw. Can stop for a minute nearby to unload but again didn't realise this till too late.

Small, cosy and very well kept hotel located a couple of minutes in one direction from the beautiful clean beach and a couple of minutes in the other direction from the lovely old town of St Jean de Luz. Breakfast on our terrace was delightful and excellent quality. Madame Claudette is so kind and helpful and will do everything to make your stay a good one. Towels, coffee, biscuits etc all replaced every day, and a comfortable bed. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return!

Hotel is basically on top of restaurants, so kitchen smells are to be expected. Room safe is small and not fixed to anything, easy to remove.

Room smelled like cigarettes necessitating leaving veranda door open and thus hearing loud church bells.

The location of the hotel.

Fantastic central location and still close to the railway station (5-6 minute walk). Has nicely decorated rooms that were in good condition, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Lovely welcome and super helpful host.

Room was a touch on the small size. Air conditioning in our room didn’t work properly - we were moved to another (larger) room that worked better with no fuss after a couple of nights. Central location means there is some noise from the bars and restaurants outside the hotel but most of the noise is blocked out when closing the wooden shutters and glass doors.

Awesome location, good room quality incl bed, lovely, attentive host/owner lady. Excellent bars/restos/ice cream right at the foot of your door !

Noise and restaurant cooking smell (we had a standard room to the street) is ok if you stay 1-3 nights like us, while not to recommend if you re out there for longer or for a wholly relaxing experience. Value for money in this high season is ok while well at the upper tolerable end of it ..

The hostess was lovely.

The linens are washed in a very strong-smelling detergent. The air conditioner didn’t go below 19 degrees, and having the windows opened meant that we heard the church bells ring throughout the time that we were there.

Perfect location in saint jean de luz. You won’t find a better location. Helpful hosts who will share with you the best that the region has to offer. Worth the price 100 %.

Great Central location. Beautiful town.

Difficult to get to. Complicated one way system, no outside parking / ability to drop off luggage. Parking where available was expensive although the host did explain where free parking could be found.

The owner was very welcoming and could not have been more helpful.

could be noisy late at night from people in the street. Not the easiest place to find.
