The food! Was absolutely amazing and I would come back for this again and again! The staff were also really friendly. The location is very accessible too.

The room was really noisy. It was next to some kind of ventilation and this was on until about 9pm then there was a fair amount of banging noises somewhere below the room. We also ordered a breakfast to have in the room but this was never delivered.

Couldn't get the heating to work in the bathroom. Waterproof flooring in bathroom rather than wooden flooring.

Breakfast not available until 0900 - too late for business travellers BUT on day one a lunch sandwich was offered and on day two a take-away bacon sandwich - both excellent and demonstrated a desire to keep me happy - mission accomplished!

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Our towels were damp and the staff changed them straight away. The food was great and the restaurant was cosy. The staff even gave us a lift to our party when we couldn’t get a taxi 😃

Our room was comfortable, warm and well decorated. The shower worked really well. There was plenty of tea and coffee and there was fresh milk to use in the mini fridge. Breakfast was from a menu, rather than self-service, and we could choose from a range of things on the menu. The quality of the cooked breakfast was really good and it came with a good pot of tea. Table service was prompt and friendly.

Whilst the cooked breakfast was really good, and suited what we wanted to have, we were rather limited in what we could have extra within the allowed cost. So for example fresh fruit salad and/or yogurt and/or cereal on top of the cooked breakfast would probably have cost more. That said, the hotel was flexible, to a degree, in allowing small extras.

carpet from carpark side door to the bedroom and stairs rather tired and soiled. No chairs in bedroom. En-suite towel radiator not heated/turned on. Staff advised it would be turned on.
