Great place

A wonderful end of summer getaway for our family. Very comfortable and roomy stay with all the amenities of home. Reminds me of my childhood summers in Galveston!!!

My family and I had a great time staying at this property. The size was perfect! Everything was clean and fully functional. Check-in and Check-out a breeze.

The one complaint would be that the tv never worked. It would lose signal every couple of minutes. The house is great and we absolutely loved the layout. We only wanted the tv for the early risers before 7am

This is the best beach house I ever stayed in. It was perfect , elegant, and well decorated . Felt like home away from home. The next time I booked this is the only beach house I will booked with again . I personally rate this beach house 150% amazing . For what the beach house comes with the price is perfect 😊

The house has a big bright, open area with lots of seating. The kitchen has 2 counter spaces for working and serving. Loved the square dining table. Ac worked well. The bathrooms are a very nice size, not too small. Thanks! We greatly enjoyed our weekend in Gtown.

We had a lovely time at this rental. It was just as described. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the proximity to the beach.

Really easy to check in and out. Near a beach, plenty of space around the house. Everything was clean and organized would for sure rent again!

The property was awesome. The bed sheets were a little stale but it’s probably due to the house being closed all day.

The house was everything like the pictures. No surprises, everything worked, and the property manager sent all the information we needed before we got there. It is walking distance to the beach and such a beautiful place. The house is spacious and has a wonderful kitchen. We will definitely be looking at booking here again next year.

This is our second time staying here and we love it. Pirate’s Beach is a great beach and this house is about a 5 min easy walk. I’d recommend!

Nice property! We rented a golf cart to get us and our gear to the beach. You will need your own umbrellas and chairs. The home is well laid out with a bunk room and full bath on the main floor that was perfect for the kids.

We go to Galveston 2x a year and this was a great beachhouse. Clean and you remember to rent a golf cart if you plan to visit the beach often

Plenty of beautifully furnished space within walking distance of the beach. Great table seating for meals and games! We enjoyed the property very much! Thanks!

Enjoyed our stay

It was a great place to stay! Clean and close to the beach and a couple restaurants near by. We had two 3-year olds and 6 adults and we all fit easily. Would definitely come back

We rented this particular property because the initial listing included access to a pool. We brought our 5 grandchildren with the hope that we could teach them to swim. The manager sent us an emailed attachment giving us directions to the pool. Unfortunately, when we packed up and went to the pool, we were told that we could not use the pool. The pool access was dropped 4 years ago! When I called the manager, Anthony Benton, he was very abrupt and rudely told us that we were completely mistaken and that in no way was there any reference to pool access. He stated firmly that pool access was not mentioned on the VRBO website. I emailed him the attachment that he emailed me the day before our arrival at the property clearly stating how to access the pool. The next day, he emailed me that we could access the pool, but only for that day. He never apologized, he never reached out to admit that he had made a mistake. One simple apology and we would have let it go. But he was so rude on the phone! I will NEVER rent from this manager again. Look, we all make mistakes, but the appropriate thing to do is apologize and try to make amends. Just one statement..."I'm so sorry, I made an error...my fault!" and we would have let it go. But no, nothing! So sad. We ended up taking our grandkids to a public pool at Jamaica Beach where we had to pay additional pool fees.

Great big house was perfect for 4 adults and 7 kids. Appliances were all new, including a coffee pot and a keurig. The beach is within a 10 minute walk, but we decided to drive less than a mile down the road to park our vehicles on the beach so we didn’t have to lug all our junk. Very quiet neighborhood and our kids had fun playing in the cul de sac. We would rent here again. Thank you!

The property would have been so much better if we could have actually spent time outside. The mosquitoes were so bad we would run to and from the car trying to avoid getting attacked by the mosquitoes!! We easily drove and walked to and from the beach. The beach was busy, but not too overcrowded. The house had lots of room and was a great place to getaway!

Glad this was the property selected for my stay in Galveston. The house was spacious and enough room for all of us. The host answered my questions when I reached out to him as well. I will stay at this home again when we do another bike ride in Galveston.

We had a couples getaway at Chez Antoine and enjoyed our visit. The house was clean and spacious and it was nice to have 3 bathrooms. The downstairs has bunk beds but the bottom bunk is big enough to sleep two people for those who might have kids and want to make it a family trip. We had some issues with appliances but the owner was great and sent someone to look into it. I was pleased with the ease of communication and we felt comfortable and safe there. The beach is a short walk away and it was not crowded which we loved. The only nuisance was the mosquitoes. I'm sure post Hurricane Beta they were worse than usual. Bring plenty of repellent because they attacked as soon as we pulled in. Lol! Other than that, you won't be disappointed with your stay!

Check-in was easy, owner was very helpful! The house is very nice- even better in person vs the pictures. The master suite is huge with a spacious bathroom. We had dinner beneath the house on the first floor picnic table because there was so much room and the weather was perfect! The back yard is a wonderful lawn with palm trees- we got some great sunset pictures! Would absolutely stay here again!

The house was great. Perfect location, short walk to the beach. The younger kids had no problem making the walk. Anthony was very responsive to all my communications.

Everything was great with this house. I have stayed here 3 times now and it has always been great. The only critique from the last stay was we didn’t have any dish soap, body soap, shampoo, or trash bags in the house so that was a little hiccup but nothing a quick trip didn’t fix. Would stay again and recommend to anyone.

Spacious and Entertaining

We had an amazing stay! The beach house was clean, with a fully equipped kitchen and in a great location.... approximately a 5 minute walk to the beach. We cooked everyday for our family of 7 adults and 3 children. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

We rented this place with the plans of spending most of our time at the beach. Unfortunately the beach was closed due to Covid for our entire stay so we had to spend the whole weekend at the house. The setup for this house was perfect both inside and out for this type of stay so it worked out perfect. We would highly recommend this house!!
