Very private location, pleasant surroundings. Difficult to find however . A more prominent marker of some kind at the road would be helpful .

Jeff is an awesome host his properties are amazing cozy and offer the best amenities for a wonderful vacation or getaway! If you haven’t been to Rickets Glenn- pack your bags and just do it! This place is amazing!!

Adorable cabin in the woods, wish we had more time to sit and enjoy but we're fairly busy with my daughters wedding nearby at Adams Falls. We stayed here with kids ages 4-11 and had my parents stay at the other house, as this house has a spiral staircase and all bedrooms are upstairs. Would stay again.

The cabin was cute and space was well used. I especially enjoyed the porches and walking the little trail behind the cabin in the morning. We LOVED Rickett's Glen State Park and how close we were to it. Jeff was a fantastic host and was so responsive. He even stopped by with something we needed for the kitchen sink. We would come back in a heart beat.

Just as advertised. Great place to go for a long weekend. Don't miss the Falls hike. The beach at Rickett's Glen is enjoyable.

Took a few days off at the beginning of the week to show my children the beautiful waterfalls of Ricketts Glen. I chose this place because of the absolutely perfect location, but there was more than just the location that we loved. The fire pit outback was the perfect setup for mountain pies and s'mores. A huge box of wood, protected from the rain, was available for $5 for 10 pieces. We played Monopoly, cards, and Worst Case Scenario, all of which were in the cabin. We had all the cooking utensils we needed for pancakes, eggs, bacon, and toast. Plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, and garbage bags. We hiked 7 miles one day and it was nice to quickly return to the cabin in less than 5 minutes and rest. There are also several restaurants within 10 minutes as well as a Dollar General, corner store, and gas station. If we come out that way again, we'd definitely try and get this cabin again.

Jeff was great. He keeps the place nice, and we wanted to leave it nice. Grill, fire pit, porch with chairs, full kitchen, full bath, air, WiFi, new mattresses. 3 great days, 3 great nights. We'd come back in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Everything was as described. I expected a small cozy cabin and got a charming cozy cabin that was more spacious than expected.

Loved stayingnin thw cabin. Perfect for my family would stay there again.

Comfortable quiet cabin. Just sorry we didn't get to dine at the Ricketts Glenn Hotel just across the street. Was packed every night. So make reservations ahead of time if you want to eat there.

Place was just the right size for are family. Would of liked to know that that it doesn't have central air conditioning . There's two window units for cooling. Kitchen chairs need to be upgraded. Everything else was great.

The house is beautiful! It is close to the park and was perfect for my weekend hiking. Very spacious house and property.

This cabin was in a perfect location ; Close to the park that we wanted to explore and close to a few eateries . It was comfortable and the wooded property was beautiful . The host provided great tips for our stay and was very responsive with any questions that we had . We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back !

The cabin was in itself amazing. The property backs up into an almost endless forest which was great for exploring and looking for animals. There were a few other people at the other three properties, but it didn't take away from the privacy at all. Jeff the owner was a great host who kept in contact with us throughout the stay. He even has a little souvenir cabinet with stuff to purchase which I though was a great touch. Highly recommend and will definitely be staying again.

A perfect cabin for a weekend getaway! Property is well maintained and has everything necessary (stove, fridge, heat and AC, toaster, hot water, etc) while only being a short distance from Ricketts Glen! Definitely recommend this lovely cabin and the falls trail

We had a wonderful stay! The property owner provided e Ruth if we needed and more, from a binder filled with great tips, and suggestions of places to eat, things to do and maps. We enjoyed hiking in Ricketts Glen State park. The cabin was clean, well kept and had everything we could need. We loved that we could walk from the cabin to the ricketts hotel for a drink or bite to eat and the chowder at ricketts hotel was amazing! Thank you Jeff and family, we will be back to explore more in the summer and we might even bring our adult children!

This place was great. Gave me and my friends a chance to unplug and relax. Tv with a lot of movies to watch was so nice. There is no cell or Wi-Fi. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a weekend away.

So very close to Rickett's Glen!! The house itself is a cute cabin style retreat. We were very comfortable and the owner took care of any need we had. Highly recommend.

The property was an excellent, quaint getaway 5 minutes from Ricketts Glen. Will definitely be back in the spring or summer :)

This cabin was a cozy before and after retreat for a wonderful Rocket’s Glenn Falls Trail hike! Thanks so much Jeff!

The location of the cabin is perfect, right outside of Ricketts Glen State Park. We stayed for 3 nights. We did not speak with the property owner during our trip, however, I did message beforehand asking for recommendations and he was very helpful. There is a fire ring with chairs and a picnic table out behind the cabin. The outside of the cabin is adorable. The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen, local channel tv, and multiple dvds to choose from. Paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap & bathroom hand soap were supplied for us. There is also a keurig coffee maker. Upon arrival, the inside of the freezer was covered in what looked melted popsicle juice and there was cob webs on the ceilings of the bathroom & bedrooms. The description of the cabin states that it has a washer and dryer on the property. It does not. Overall, my family enjoyed our stay. It was nice to get away from our busy routine and relax by the fire.

This a a great cabin near the Evergreen Trail of Ricketts Glenn and only 4.5 miles from the trail heads at the state park. The cabin is charming and has everything needed for a weekend or extended stay with the exception of bringing your own sheets and towels. There was a comforter in the main bedroom but I didn't notice any in the other rooms. Check with Jeff about the status of that. Jeff is the owner who stopped in to see if we needed anything or had any questions. He is very knowledgeable about the area and was a great resource. There is good cellphone coverage at the cabin but none in the state park or on the trails. There is no wifi or cable but you do get local TV channels. We loved the little cabin, the location was perfect, it was very clean and definitely recommend it!

Close to Ricketts Glen trails and Sullivan Falls. Beautiful woods with a great trail that we walked every day with our pup. Perfect for the two of us with a short visit from our son. Great find.

Kiddos raved about how awesome the cabin and property were. My partner and I were so impressed with the entire stay, we’ve been spreading the good words since we got home from our trip. We love getting the whole family back to nature and unplugging whenever we can. Kiddos especially enjoyed the fire pit and making s’mores as well as the abundance of local wildlife to discover. Exactly what we all needed, such a relaxing week! One of the best things was how close we were to the waterfall hiking trails system and lake Jean, as we specifically wanted to experience all of those things. Can’t say enough how awesome this experience was for us, we will definitely be back again. Thank you to our wonderful host for the clean, relaxing, and welcoming experience. We’ve never felt more at home while out of time!

This property has just about everything you need for a nice relaxing getaway. It’s well equipped and stocked with cookware even which was nice. The fire pit was enjoyable and there’s firewood for sale at a more than reasonable price I felt. I highly recommend this property and its owner.
