Arrived to the property unclean from the previous occupiers smelt strongly of cigarettes even though they charge a mandatory cleaning deposit facilities were awful every time you turn a tap on the bathroom tap starts flowing and a loud pumping noise ensues this also started at random times in the night waking us up didn’t feel clean even after property was cleaned very run down close to the point of becoming unsafe and no parking close to the property as it’s on a busy public road sometimes having to park 10 min walk away even though the property advertises having parking available this is not the case

It was in a great location
The place we stayed at was not like in the pictures we saw on booking.com.
The carpets was dirty and the floor in the bathroom was really bad. The property had a really bad smell to it to.

I didn’t like anything about these apartments, dirty and dingy
We booked the apartment due to visiting family to attend a wake. Like others we were forced to pay the £15.40 in order to obtain the key code
On arrival- The place was filthy with soiled sheets that were still on the bed from the previous guests, wet towels on the bathroom floor, filthy bin that hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. The toilet was soiled, there was a mass of pubes in the shower tray (see pics).
The sofa and carpets were filthy with food debris and stains. The fridge was filthy and more.
All contact with the owner was through WhatsApp, I’m assuming this is so booking.com can’t see the way they talk to their customers and get to see the endless list of faults.
I spoke to the owner and explained my complaints, he said it hadn’t been cleaned since the previous tenants and would send someone to clean it. We had travelled for 3 hours to get to the apartment and had checked in at the specified time that the owner had set . We had a screaming 3 year old tired child that needed to rest. I advised the owner we needed somewhere to take him to rest. He then gave us the key code to the apartment next door.
We had already met with the people that had checked in there earlier and they were disgusted with the place, left and got a refund.
We went to the second apartment, on first glance it looked cleaner and had been serviced.
There was no cot that I had asked for. within a couple of minutes the 3 year old was running around with a dirty vape he had found down the sofa.
We went to pull the sofa bed out for the child to rest and were greeted with utter filth! There was a soiled sheet on there with stains and debris and looked as if someone had been staying on the same sheet for months (see pic). There were no other sheets or pillows for the sofa bed. It was unfit to sleep on as too dirty and also broken.
We went to leave the apartment and we couldn’t lock it, we decided we definitely couldn’t stay in fear for the child being able to step out onto the main road.

The location was perfect for the beach and shops.
I contacted the business to state what was wrong but they did not reply.
We couldn't get in till 20 minutes past the check in time (time that we'd paid for). The room was not clean. The beds hadn't all been made. There weren't enough towels. WE HAD NO HOT WATER. The sofa bed in the front room had a broken back leg which meant you couldn't use it and it nearly collapsed on my 2 yr old. The batteries in the remotes had leaked, so remotes not working. No welcome toiletries as stated. The floor was filthy. The WiFi was not working. The pots and all plates and utensils were dirty. The table and chairs had bits if food on them. The kitchen cabinet was hanging off. Furniture was broken. THIS WAS NOT THE ROOM IN THE PICTURE. We had 1 room with 1 double bed and a bunk bed that felt like it would collapse. There was a big bedroom mirror that was broken and dangerous. The flooring was terrible, so they put two big rugs down to cover the awful flooring which became trip hazards. We had a man knock in the door in the morning asking if there were any call girls working. Every time anyone moved upstairs to us it sounded like the ceiling would come through. There was no cot put up, and if we'd have put it up then the sofa would have fallen down as the owners used it to prop up the sofa. The double bed sagged down as the bed was falling apart.
My son has OCD and this was a living nightmare for him to stay in. But we had no means to stay somewhere else for the night.
WE HAVE RECEIVED NO CONTACT FROM THE OWNERS UPON RAISING CONCERNS VIA THEIR WHATSAPP, AS THEY DID NOT ANSWER THE PHONE. NOONE HAS SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THERE BEING NO HOT WATER.
WE WISH WE COULD GET OUR MONEY BACK.

Got to talk with receptionist twice , I reached hotel room and needed a code to unlock door , I called receptionist (who after 30 minutes), answered and told me go on WhatsApp go on WhatsApp , and puts phone down , as am not versed on WhatsApp , anyway it was to get another £15.40 to get code to open door , so I finally pay it and call him again, 1 hour later after ignoring my texts he answered and calls me a racist ( wow), and puts phone down , after spending hours getting ignored and having my family and friends waiting outside he sends a text with code, the room was one of them rooms they let out for homeless or people on dole ( not that there’s anything wrong with people on dole or coming off the street ) but it wasn’t what I signed up for, oven was disgusting, tv never worked, all round bad lived in flat carpets stained,anyway I’ve said enough,

DO NOT STAY HERE. Appalling property and it should not even be allowed to be listed on booking.com. I booked for a 2 night stay, the property was incredibly dirty and stank of cigarette smoke. Bedsheets we’re stained and smelled of smoke. Carpets were ripped and torn and covered in stains. Bathroom was filthy with black mould. I could go on. The host and booking.com have both denied me a refund even thought the property was disgusting and looked nothing like the pictures. Do not expect any help from booking.com if you have any issue with your stay.

Getting out of the apartment!
The apartment flat 2, walking in the apartment in smelt of smoke and damp/mold the pictures must have been photos hopped as there nothing like the apartment at all it was filth and disgusting the was hair and dust everywhere honestly would never stay there again even if free...its not looked after and hasn't been cleaned....and all they could offer was 15% off next stay......sorry no thank you and to top it of moved the bed this morning where my children was sleeping there was a pile of moldy sh*# (apparently it has been cleaned)absolutely disgusted in the place wouldn't even let my pet stay there (I do have pictures to back up this negative post and my clothes that have absorbed the smell) do yourself a favour keep looking for something else!

Where to start!
It is not even close by what it looks on booking com.
Toilet was broken, filthy, sink was leaking, in bathroom no way any one can take shower due to not having hot water plus shower was broken. There was filthy carpet in bathroom and rotten. Plus wholes on them.

I am urging Eastbourne council to see this flat immediately plus fire abrogate people too.
We stayed only one hour to look for another place to stay overnight in Eastbourne so my pregnant wife and I go to swimming for next sunny day.

We had very bad experience. It’s really unhygienic. Property hasn’t been maintained properly. All the bed covers are stinky. Sink is blocked and I raised the issue they said someone will come and fixed it but housekeepers never come in. We got allergic reaction from dust and couldn’t breathe . Everywhere was mould.

A lot of things were broken inside the flat, but they've wanted 150£ deposit before I've checked in, i had to wait half an hour in the street until I've received the instructions to get inside, the rubish bin was full since i came there and nobody came to empty it for my 3 days stay,

The property was near the sea
They demanded another £150 deposit. When I got there, they would not give me my keys. There was no reception key was on the wall somewhere could not find it. It was a nightmare. The place was rundown windows were filthy curtains were ripped carpets were all stained it was just disgusting. And they said if I didn’t give them the extra 150, they would call the police and I would’ve had nowhere to sleep, so I gave in

For those that are tempted about the price of a stay at this property, please do not make the same mistake as us. From cursory glance at the reviews before booking we were aware that the property had cosmetic and hygiene issues. However, as we were only intending to use the property as a place to sleep at night whilst visiting friends in the area, we thought that we could overlook these issues to keep costs to a minimum. As previous reviews have pointed out, the property is dirty, has a pervasive scent of acrid smoke and is crying out for a little aesthetic TLC. Another troubling aspect is that the property is falsely advertised. All bar one of the photos on booking.com appear to show the interior of a completely different and more modern apartment than the one we stayed in. The listing is also not transparent about the exterior of the property which is forebodingly derelict and again...dirty. Prospective customers should also be aware that the place is situated in a rough and busy area of Eastbourne, so the apartment is always flooded with unpleasant noise pollution, and worst of all, you may not feel safe and secure during your stay. For example, somebody attempted to gain access to the property in the early hours of the morning via the creepy side alley. Luckily, we are light sleepers and were able to spook the would-be intruder as he attempted to prize the window open.
A couple of hours after we checked out, we were informed by the property owner that we would not be receiving our £149 deposit back due to us “removing two electrical fans and kitchen appliances” from the property. These accusations, whilst having some comedic value, were false! I attempted to dispute this with the property owner / company, however, they were slippery and then uncommunicative. I have since spent the last three weeks disputing the issue with booking.com directly. This has been a frustrating process of calling up every couple of days and being on hold for an accumulation of 8 hours. Throughout I was told “there is nothing we can do” or “all you can do is write a negative review”. I would then receive false promises of an investigation which would take “x” number of days and they would be in touch. This phone call would never come, and I would have to chase them up and start the whole process again. EVENTUALLY, I did receive the deposit back via booking.com. I have read many of the reviews for this property and a concerning number of them mention not receiving deposits for various reasons. I am in shock that booking.com continue to host the property on its site and allow its customers to fall victims to this pattern of behaviour. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE A GAMBLE and steer well clear of booking here.

Absolutely nothing. This property is not fit for human habitation and should be taken off of booking.com straight away. We want our money back as we did not stay here, it was disgustingly dirty and unsafe and it looks absolutely nothing like the pictures.
The beds stunk and had no linen, just dirty blankets and it smelt like smoke and drugs had been smoked in the property.
The bathroom was disgusting and full of mould and smelt vial and quite frankly I wouldn’t wish anyone to stay there- I’m fairly sure a homeless person would turn this down.
Everything, from the moment we arrived. A poo stained door with all blown windows from the glazing units being full of condensation. Mouldy curtains and stinky blankets, if you like filth and stench this is the place for you.
Dodgy lurking in the alley way next to the property and we felt unsafe and disgusted.

The floor wasn’t enough clean and the shower door was damage by side which is not safe for family and when you call to the property staff not helpful at all and they cut the phone did not respond quite awhile very hardly to get them and discuss your issues which are not helpful. Unfortunately

Unfortunately the shower door wasn't attached,just propped up inside the shower ,a heavy glass door.The oven didn't work without the hob being on ...we tried everything the buttons had no markings to determine when they were off,pretty dangerous just glowing red hot while I used the oven.The toaster only worked if you held the button down ,extractor didn't work.No bedding for sofa bed just a cupboard of what appeared to be dirty laundry,also the sofa bed couldn't be pulled out where it was had to be moved to the kitchen area!The front window onto a busy,noisy road wouldn't close either ....Good frying pan and saucepan though !!!

The location was good but there’s plenty of alternative properties nearby
We brought food to cook spent £30 and the cooker is broke. They take a deposit for the stay but not sure why the cooker didn’t work at all!

The furnitures were all dirty and stained , the mattress and cushions had mold and stains on it as well. floor carpets were dirty and stained. The heaters need proper maintence as it was cold through the night.
Easier method of check in is needed .
The dishes in the cabinets were all dusty and not cleaned regularly by the looks of it.
