Breakfast was freshly prepared and varies everyday. Service was very friendly and always served with a smile. Host and staff were always ready to help and answer any questions. Location easy access to public transport and food outlets.

The space could have been much cleaner. The cupboards smelt moldy, the room has a constant stuffy smell and so did the washroom. The surfaces had dust on them as well. The reception was also often unattended.

The breakfast was good especially the fresh bread and the staff's love in serving the breakfast. The location is excellent as it is in a main town with access to train services, banks, many eatery outlets and the quietness.

We loved the helpfulness of all the staff. Kavy, the manager, was very approachable and gave us good advice about transport. (For example, when we inquired about a taxi ride to Souillac, not only did he oblige and hired a cab for us, but it was a new Mercedes and the price lower than expected). The breakfast were delicious and magnificent, and something to look forward to. We picked the large room, which is very spacious and bright, and in our opinion well worth the little extra. There is a handy cafe/restaurant just 10 or so metres across the entrance to Hello Guesthouse, where we ate our dinners. The guesthouse is located in walking distance to the metro station, buses, bank and the local market. The hotel exceeded our expectations and is excellent value. We really loved our stay at Hello Guesthouse and highly recommend it.

Central in Mauritius, close to places we wanted to go to. Very friendly owner and staff, helpful and courteous. Very good breakfast each day.

One improvement to suggest - have a strong ventilation fan or outlet for the attached bathroom, otherwise the water cannot dry inside, and it gets very humid and wet in the bathroom.

There are a lot of steps to get to the rooms. The staff helped to carry the luggage. Elderly people may find it difficult to climb the steps.

Best place to stay in Quatre Bornes and surroundings. The house is really nice, close to everything and super clean. Breakfast is delicious and the staff is wonderful! Veronique and Kavee are really nice hosts I strongly recommend!
